Orlando Z owners
Other then the OZOC site, are there any other threads with local Z owner's cars? I saw south florida had a pic thread for the locals, didn't know if there was anything like that for the central florida crowd? I see Z's all the time in traffic but I am usually in my beater car so I can never catch up to them
I got this posted in the For Sale thread but for the ones that don't visit that section too often...

Most of us have OZOC stickers...I don't have a pic of one on this computer, but I'll try to post one later so you'll know what to look for.

Didnt really buy it for the gas mileage(according to fueleconomy.gov it gets 1mpg worse than my Z does on city and highway). More so I bought it so I could build the Z and keep miles off of it.
Of course Im not going to complain about being able to put 87panther **** into it instead of premium.

Its a 1990 240SX, its the base of the base models. Manual windows, manual locks, no cruise, no ABS. In other words, minimum amount of crap that can go wrong and give me a headache to fix.
COBB ACCESS PORT
Was reading into this for the longest not bad for us NA people to get more out of the Z.

After talking to Jeremy I feel like wasting more money after bolt-ons to gain a few to the wheels is not worth it. Theres the UpRev by Orisis that I think is like the Cobb as well... Base downloaded maps based on what you have done. And its cheaper by $200.
$700?.. you can ask Charles or Nick who work at Nissan to increase your timing by 2 degrees for free; they did it for I think everyone at that picnic awhile back. I mean maybe to increase your rev limiter but I dont think the reliability is worth the extra couple hundred rpm's. I would call Jeremy and ask him what he thinks of it. Dude did have the 5 fastest 350z's for a long time...

well its relative the with the way you think about it. I dont see it as not being worth it. The utec route is proven to consistantly loose maps NA wise due to the ecu correcting but this seems not to have that problem. Also for us that want to reach as close as the 300rwhp goal everything counts. Jeremey doesnt liek to tune NA utecs but he did tune a haltech NA Z and was happy form what i read no issues . Im sure if he wasnt fustrated with UTECS loosing tunes on NA Zs maybey that would allieviate his fustration lol. I think utecs na wise are going away from being a reliable solution. But if you can gain a solid 10rwhp from this then its already worth it to me. I have no plans on every going FI. But do plan on maximizing its NA potential and suspension. So i cant think like you. Money is money but you must not have unrealistic goals when going NA. Everyone knows its more costly per HP but to me as a DD its more then satisfying not having to worry about the troubles of FI with the more to worry about mentality. Not that its not tempting to me but just not viable nor logical for a car that gets driven to work and home everyday ...the chances of something going wrong would be daily and are just not logical for me.
Anyways i will ask jeremy about it like i said even if it gained 10rwhp it would be worth it to me . the uprev option is also temtpting but this is even easier with its method of installation and user interface. Just my 2. cents.
my ultimate option would be haltech......but as a mid gap solution for NA wise i wonder the feasiblity of it and potential.
