350Z/G35 meet Sat, Nov 27th
Well, I know this is a "Z" meet but I sent Ronnie (M3) an email inviting him last night. I don't know yet if he will be joining us, but I hope you don't mind me extending the invitation to a non- Z'er.
Just thought pretty much the same as you said in your earlier post McDuck about people that just love cars and driving. The more the merrier for me!!

cool... sounds like we may have a decent turnout! As I mentioned at the beginning... if we get enough people and want to make this a semi-regular thing, I'll talk to the manager at Vinnie's about giving us some recognition. Maybe a reserved section of parking lot and some tables how ever often we decide to get together.
I go there a lot and know a lot of the staff. I think if we demonstrate some interest they will work with us.

Sounds good...the tempo is picking up.
Lets hope the weather holds out so our cars will look nice and shiny. I spent 2 hours today scrubbing the crap off my car from the recent rains. I dont think I will be driving it much in the winter time.....too much work to keep it clean.

Just a side note,
We actually informed the service department and management from Raleigh Infiniti about our meets.
Our service guy comes out and has a few drinks with us. Last time he brought hats, key chains, license plates, shirts, infiniti pocket knives. Basically just thankyou gifts. We also get better deals/breaks on service work
It also helps get the word out to new G owners who may be interested in joining the group.

+1
I went to play some paintball instead of cleaning my car
But it's not that dirty, just a little dusty.

Andy, not to familiar with those directions or the roads, anyway you could meet me at Marks Shop? Or give me a call on my cell, 704 438 2411. I got to be at lightning Mike's at 10. Give me a call if you can't meet me maybe I can get a little different directions.
Well, not too bad a turnout for a first effort on a day that was less than optimal for driving!
For this semi-impromptu drive, we had a total of 9 cars show up: 7 350Z, 1 G35, and 1 Mach1 (buddy of mine who just wanted to come and hang out). Didn't get many pictures because the day was overcast, but the drizzle did hold off long enough for us to make an hour long lap through some country roads.
I think everyone had fun and we will surely do this again soon. More importantly, I spoke to Todd, the manager at Vinnies, who is very interested in working with us to provide a meeting spot. Great thing about Vinnies is they have a BIG parking lot.
Thanks to everyone who came out...
Sharif (gq_626), Tony (azaz) & Amber & her friend Chastity, Anthony (newcredit... who made the drive down from Raleigh!
), Morris (Morris), Nathan (whose screen name I can't remember now), Jenn (sxzgin... who came down from Winston-Salem), and Shane (Lil).
If we get a kind of warm weekend soon, we'll do this again... so expect a me to post a run on short notice.
For those interested, if the weather is clear a couple of us are going to make the drive up to Raleigh next weekend to crash newcredit's G35 party at the Flying Saucer. Once a decision is made, I'll post a meeting place and time to caravan up.

Yeah I had fun too! It was nice to actually "feel" the car for once.
The G'guys are expecting you all to crash the party so if the weather is good please try to make it.
Mabey we can crash that Ale House Party afterwards!
Did anyone else talk to the foreign guys at the gas station?
They were really funny, one of them said "So are you all together" and I looked out the window with them and started nodding me head like "Nah" don't know those guys.

Hate I missed the meet. New owner here, been lurking on the boards forever now. I'm down for any future meets. I will be coming from Albemarle. I'll try to check the South East section alot more often.
Lil, where are you? I'm over close to Lake Tillery.
