Default 350Z/G35 meet Sat, Nov 27th

After seeing the lackluster response to GQ's Charlotte Roll-call thread, I felt it would do the local Z community some good to have an impromptu meet.

WHEN: Saturday, Nov 27th @ 1pm
WHERE: Vinnie's at Mountain Island
WHY: Why not?
WHO: 350Z & G35 owners
(and anyone else who wants to crash our party!)

Nothing formal... we'll meet around 1pm. Hang out and have a bite to eat at Vinnies. Afterwards, we'll do a short cruise somewhere.

Directions to Vinnies
- Take Hwy 16 (Brookshire Freeway) out of Charlotte toward Huntersville
- Go a little more than 7 miles, turn left at Rozzell's Ferry Road
- Less than 1/4 mile, turn left into small shopping center
- Park with the other Zs & Gs!

If you know you will be there, add your name to the list below. I'll make arrangements at Vinnies to reserve a big enough area for everyone. Also, if we get an enthusiastic enough turnout, I wouldn't mind working out a more regular meeting.

yeah, Tony... and if you can't fit them all in your Z (we're all in 2-seaters after all), I'd be happy to swing by and serve as a taxi for one or two or them!

Guys, it will be cool to hang out again, but do you see now why I gave up trying to organize Z33 meets in Charlotte. Brand enthusiasm in this town is pathetic...

MCDuck,

The triangle is also trying to link up with you guys. Hit him up at

CSTOVER@nc.rr.com He will put out a mass email to see if the guys want to make a road trip.

Our meet is set for Dec. 4th Details from Hkygoalie below:

"Okay all we are going to meet on Dec 4th at 2pm at the Flying Saucer in Downtown Raleigh. Here is their web site http://www.beerknurd.com for directions. Any chance in getting the G lovers from Charlotte/Greensboro/Winston Salem and anyone else for that matter to show up would be great!! As always RSVP so I can get a good head count of who is going to be there especially for parking!!! Hopefully it will not be like the last rainy meet we had when we should of had 8 guys and ended up only having 4?? SO lets just blame that one on the rain!!! Anyways looking forward to seeing everyone again and hopefully some new faces as well!! and if you need an excuse for the wife/family tie it in with X-mas shopping!!!"

Sure, I will see if I can get Amber to bring a few of her friends. But most seem to have a lot of drama going on, don't know if you want to deal with all that. Thank God we don't have that problem!

azaz...
hmm... I dunno... a lot of drama would still be better than what I have at the moment.

newcredit...
Right now, I'm expecting guests that weekend. If that changes, I'll be up for a run to meet with the Raleigh crowd.

I am in the works to bring the drama queen or queens to you! She has one friend that says she will meet us up there, possibility of another, just have to wait and see on that one.

Na, it's not as bad as I am making it out. It just sounds good to say that!

After all what is life without a little drama in it? Boring wouldn't ya think.

So, exactly what does a calorie burning drive consist of?

Drifting...and frantically pumping the wheel from full lock to full lock...LOL Its a great workout.

Hey, I ran into your buddy Ron (or Ronnie) with the M3 at the big GMP meet they had in Charlotte last weekend. I saw some of the nicest cars I have seen in a while. There was a tricked out silver 911 turbo with HRE 19's and 335/25/19 Pilot Sport 2's in the back. It was sic.

Sounds good for the cardio system!!!!

I didn't even know GMP was hosting an event last weekend. Shows you how much in the know I am. I've been really busy tho the last few months and about every weekend had something to do. Oh well, it's close to some calorie burning driving and I'm ready to have some fun!

Sorry, Sharif... this may very well be it. From prior experience, I can honestly say 350Z support in our area sucks.

I hope we will have a bigger turn out than those listed above, but I'm not holding my breath. Though, if we have a small group, maybe the next time we do this we'll open it up to a wider range of cars like High Tach does. I'm more interested in hanging out with people who love cars and love to drive more than hanging out with just 350Z owners anyway.
