Drum roll, please! The Commerce City Council voted last night to extend the SCR use permit for ONE MORE YEAR. This is good news for all Z enthusiasts in the Denver area, but should not be construed as something that will happen after 2005. Efforts to locate, assess and build a replacement track for the Front Range must continue. Otherwise, we'll be driving to PMI and LaJunta exclusively for the next decade.
No word as yet on any plans between Christmas and New Year for SCR. Even if the usual open track days are not offered (or it snows), there's good reason to celebrate!

LOL!!! Seriously, though, this is great news. Here's hoping again for free track days between Christmas and New Year. I guess I should stock up on brake pads.
