Default A good, professional tire/alignment shop in Denver?

I really don't want to go to the dealer for anything again...especially for alignment. I've been warned by many people that the dealers won't align my front end properly and I'll be stuck with feathered tires again.

Nissan is offereing to give me new tires and an alignment, but I'm going to tell them that I want it aligned at a professional shop. Are there any professional shops in Denver the specialize in high-end cars (Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, etc)?

What dealership did you go to? Tynan Nissan has high quality peeps working there, especially the guy we all use. Allen ***... ask for him specifically... he has his _hit together and knows how to set up alignments... did mine and I'm quite happy!

Good Luck!

I've considered having my car aligned at Ferrari of Denver, but I've never inquired as to whether or not they would be willing to work on a non-exotic marque.

There is a place in Boulder that specializes in this sort of thing. They mostly deal with race car set ups, David may know the name. I will try and find out and post back here what it is. I have some friends who have used them alot and swear by them. I just for the life of me right now can't remember the name.

Yeah let me know that shop in Boulder.

Peter: I had been going to St. John's on Broadway and John Elway on Arapahoe. John Elway was alright, but St. John's team was totally incompetent. They were the reason why it took so long for this feathering issue to get resolved.

Anyways, I got a call from BBB saying that Nissan is actually going to send me a $600 that should take care of two front tires and the alignment costs. What do you guys suggest I should buy for my two front tires (and where should I get them?). I'm leaving the back Bridgestones the same (and riding on the factory 17" wheels). According to BBB, Nissan has a new Bridgestone they're using but if there are any better tires out there please let me know. Thanks guys!

Are you a member of ZCCC? They have a great discount at Sear. The guys name is Dan Turner. His phone number is 303-235-6250. Give him a call. He can get you Khumo, Toyo and almost anything else you want. You just need to join the ZCCC. This discount is worth the cost of membership alone.

My latest set of tires I bought from OnlineTires . Besides being $50 less (per tire) than anyone else out there, they were delivered directly to my house. I paid $25 to have them mounted and balanced at Big 'O' Tires on Arapahoe.

Good Luck!!!

There's a shop in Boulder called Tire Source that has a great reputation in the area for being able to do a solid alignment on pretty much any car. I've not been there yet, and I'm not sure if that's the one that Mudd was thinking of, but it might be worth a shot.

However, I'll also second Don's recommendation that Allen at Tynan's knows what he's doing, and can be trusted to do a good job with pretty much anything you need done.
