I think it's about time for another 350Z/G35 get-together in the Denver area...maybe a happy hour/dinner meet to catch up after the winter and start talking about the upcoming summer driving season.

Anybody interested? If so, post up with ideas on when/where/etc. For starters, I'll suggest a weeknight gathering during the week of April 18 - 22nd, possibly centrally-located or up north this time. The Rock Bottom on highway 36 in Westminster has worked well for this in the past, although anywhere would work, as far as I'm concerned. Any thoughts?

I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone and getting some ideas for group drives this summer. Maybe we can even get a couple longer drives (Aspen, Steamboat, etc) on the schedule early enough in the season to avoid conflicts with so many personal schedules later on.

Count me in. I'd suggest someplace up north with a big table and area where we could really talk. It's Mission Impossible '05- can we get all the Z and G guys to agree on where and when to go on a road trip?

Hey guys! Its been a long time. I would love to meet up next week and catch up on what's been going on. My Z has not seen a lot of road time in the last 18 months (I started a new business and its been sucking up all of my free time).

I think any night that week will work for me except Friday.Would Weds. night work for everyone? I don't mind the Rock Bottom up north at all, or we could meet at the one Downtown which is more central for everyone, and has free parking in the garage below.

Gary, it was funny for me to see this on here as I was going to post up this thread myself tonight, we must be thinking alike. I am really wanting to get any sort of drive set up ASAP as I ripped up to almost Estes Park last Monday night when it was so nice and the first night of longer days and had a blast. I was thinking it would be much better with a few more Z's trailing along.

It sounds like next Wednesday the 20th is probably the best night for everyone. Meeting downtown might not be a bad idea, as the Rockies are out of town that day and it's a more central location. The only thing to think about there is that a bunch of Zs don't usually look as good lined up in a parking garage as they do lined up in an above-ground parking lot. That's not a reason to skip downtown, but it's something to think about.

So how does 7pm on Wednesday, the 20th sound at Rock Bottom downtown (at 16th and Curtis) or Rock Bottom in Westminster? Post up if that day/time works for you or not, and your preference for location and we'll get this finalized.

Also, bring any ideas for drives to go on (or anything else to do) this summer, and weekends that you might be available. If we can get some stuff on the calendar now, it might be easier to get a bigger turnout than we had for our few drives last year.

Brian - sounds like you had a good drive up to Estes that first Monday after the time change (that would have been a good day to go - I wish I had thought of that.) Hope you were able to avoid the snow runoff on that road. And I agree…those drives are usually more fun with a pack of Zs along for the trip!

I'm pretty far both south and east- but next Wednesday sounds good to me! I'd vote for the Westminster RB, just to make it easier for everybody up north...

Sorry, won't be able to make it. Next week is bad any night. My wife is having surgery Monday and she should be in hospital until Thursday. That's where I'll be. I don't think she'd feel very good if I abandoned her for a bunch of car nuts. Maybe next time.

I hope the surgery isn't anything too extensive Craig. Where will she have it done? Maybe the car nuts might be able to do a drive-by before the meet.

Craig- Very sorry to hear about your wife. The hospital is definitely where you should be. When she gets out of surgery, please tell her that there's at least ONE group of "car nuts" who send her positive thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery!

Is the final concensus 7:00pm at the Rock Bottom in Westminster?

Reason I ask is I think I am going to run up to Bandimere and get some last minute Test & Tune in from like 4-6:15 or so before the racing season starts on Friday night.

I think so, but we haven't had any dissenting input from anyone down south yet so it's possible the downtown location might still be necessary, as it's not too late to change before next Wednesday. Will that give you enough time to make it after leaving Bandimere?
