The Got-Z track day was a success! We ran SCR from 9 am to 2 pm Friday with a format that was much more unstructured than our usual 350Z HPDEs. After a brief driver meeting, we lined up on the pit road to get started. Probably close to 15-18 Z's of all vintages (and only 2 350Zs, including mine). We ran the early sessions playing follow the leader and learning the line. These were folks from almost every coast and Canada who were out to enjoy themselves! No mishaps from any of the participants, although an early Datsun Roadster inadvertently oiled the track down from Spectator Hook to the Boot (loose oil filter- no engine damage) that we helped clean up. Had the opportunity to run a TON of laps, with plenty of passengers, to the point I was running out of gas and brakes towards the end!

Wish I could have made that one, but I was at work. I did go to the dinner on Friday night, and made it for a little bit of the drive on Sunday. Met some really great people, and overall really had a great time. My hats off to Darrell for planning so much of this, it was really well put together.

Colocomp- Thanks for the great shots! That first one really reminds me of the full spectrum (if not history) of Nissan sportscars. As everyone can see, that day was full of clean Z cars, of every vintage. Better yet, they all showed what great performance cars can do at SCR!

Thanks again David for the instruction for the track event. It went off without a hitch.
