Default Phoenix Zs?

Hi,

Glad to see there are regional forums now!

I'm a 32 year old single female Z owner....not your typical target market but I pre-ordered it back in March and received the first Daytona Blue Z shipped to my Tempe dealer!! I absolutely adore this car! Touring model with Navi...it simply rocks. Only problem is, I can't keep people from touching it when they are crowded around it and I often get stopped and have to answer a million questions about it!

I'd love to hear from other 350Z owners in the Phoenix area...specifically who the other Z owner is who always parks his/her black Z at Sugar Daddy's in Scottsdale (Valet of Course) right next to me

Default RE: Woohoo!

Hi Dan!

Great to hear from another Phoenix Z owner!...I think pullin' the Zs into Sugar Daddy's one night would be great fun!

I'll have to tell you all my stories about dealing with the "Guys" when I ordered my 6MT. I took delivery 8/20, VIN ends in 575

Default tl = my initials :)

>>Wow! You nabbed serial number 575? You're a pre-1000'er!

Yep!!! A 500-er

>>We'll have to coordinate the invasion of Sugar Daddy's. I know there's a few other Phoenix Z owners out there. How cool would that look having a train of Z's pull in at the same time?

Absolutely!...the valet kids there get so excited when ya pull in with a Z....They all fought over who was gonna park mine the first night I pulled in

>>haha I guess some men think women don't have the proper "tools" to drive an MT. Silly boys!

Hehe...You have no idea! Oh and it seems to be an epidemic as I was pulled over within 24 hours of driving that thing off the lot by a cop that was outta control...he even sent me to court...but of course the judge thought he was nuts too!

Have you read Tim Powers.. The stress of her regard?

Or

Do you have an interesting story for your name here?

Anyways....

It would seem that I am alone except one other Z owner here in New Mexico (this web site).

I ordered my Daytona Blue Touring (with everything) on the 24th of January. I recieved it on the 16th of September. Vin 334.

I have the only Blue Z in New Mexico. There are two Lemans orange Zs around somewhere, one white, one Silverstone and one silver. I have only seen the Silverstone and Silver on the road.

No chance so far to get some Z's together here so I have to live vicariously through you guys in AZ.

Have a great time at Daddys and get some pics and post em.

Default Scottsdale Meet Sat. 12-7

Nice to see some Phx. Z owners here. We should meet at the Scottsdale Pavillions Car Show Sat. I get there around 6:00 and it is quitefun to watch people ignoring all the old hot rods to get a look at our Z's. Hope to see you there.

Default Lamias, Mysterio, and AZ350Z...

Hey guys,

January order, September 10 delivery, VIN 1142.

Glad to see some fellow 350Z Phoenix area owners out there. I am the inaugural 350Z member in the local Z club, DesertZ Association. Check out the website (which does have its share of problems) at www.desertzassociation.com.

The fun part of joining the club is that it is well organized on group activities and makes for fun time with all of the old Z members demonstrating their Zness envy on the new Z33. We just had our monthly club meeting last night and now have a total of 6 new Z's in the club. We meet the first Wednesday of each month behind the service department at Scottsdale Nissan on McDowell Road. It is a great way to meet and talk about car mod's, Zness envy, et al.

Concerning the Pavilions... we show each month and have a designated area. The next show is December 21. After that it will be the second Saturday of each month.

We also go on car rally runs, which is tremendous fun. The last one was to Tortilla flats last month... the twisty roads are where our Z's stand out. The next big run will be to Lake Havasu, to run on a good section of old route 66, the weekend of February 14.

Frankly, our cars are the only reason anyone comes over to the Z section anyway.

The next club meeting will be January 8th. I invite you to come over, check out the club, talk cars, and we can organize a Z33 showing at Sugar Daddy's. Wouldn't that be something, to see 8-10 new Z's in the valet lot up front. The German's will be envious (Porsche, Bimmer, Mercedes, et all). Club membership is only $30 single and $40 dual annually.

My warmest regards to all of you.

Default Hey Jim

Great to meet you last night. Since I'll be picking up my Z tommorrow night from B&B for the install of the new stainless headers, I just might have to forego Xmas shopping and meet up with my new friends.

Multiple Zness envy... Oh my, we might have to have our own security!!!

Cool Sat. 12-7 at Pavillions

I will try and get there early and hold some spaces for us. It usually is a full house there so you park where you can. Can't wait to see you all there!

Rich, Being from the other side of the world, can you give me some rough directions as to where to start looking for your location in the parking area?
Ted, I am really anxious to get your evaluation of the headers asap. I am still waiting to hear from others re: CIA success/failure too. See ya' Saturday. Regards, Jim

Rich...

Is that you? I met you last month at the Z club meeting. I was there with the LeMans Sunset. I agree, I was thinking about getting there about 5 myself. Do you want to try and hold some spaces just north of McD's? That is usually a good spot.

Default Pavillions

I like the spot at the north end of the lot near the resturants. It seems like the easiest place to get spaces. The Pavillions are off the 101 at Indian Bend, you cant miss it.

Hi Lamias,

It is funny you should refer to yourself as a chick. Yes, we do have room for a chick... as a matter of fact one of the club members and a former officer of the club has a yellow z32TT with the plate ZCHICK. She is really sweet and one helluva driver.

We will gladly welcome ZCHICK2.

Although there are many ladies in the club, I believe it is due to their spousal influence.

You Go Girl........................................

ZunZet,

Excellent!!

That was actually one suggestion (ZCHICK) in my huge personalized license plate fiasco...still trying to decide on a license plate, but my on-line pole ended up having over 150 suggestions and 200 votes (my friends are nuts)...so now I'm more confused as ever

I may have to hit the 12/21 car show instead of this weekend...I forgot I have a surprise party that starts at 7 sharp...so If I get over there, it'll be for about 20 mins max

Looking forward to meet you all!
