Bad News....
I just spoke with my Rep at B&B for the headers they are prototyping for my Z, Boo hoo, they won't have it done in time for this weekend at the Pavilions. Will have to wait to show it next month with the Z club at the Pavilions. Bummer...

Jim:
I have two different dyno results...
I had the car dyno'd at Technodyne in Tempe and it ran a 236 rwhp, after exhaust and K&N, up to 248 rwhp, that's roughly 310 hp at the crank.
B&B dyno'd the car stock and it was 226 rwhp, after exhaust and K&N it was up to 236 rwhp.
Like all self absorbed, egotistical gentlemen, I prefer the independent (i.e., higher) results.
It looks like I will not have my Z with the new headers back until next Friday. (All good things come to those who wait!)

Dyno charge
Ted, Thanks for the response. Can you tell me the rate they charged for the dyno run at Technodyne and how long it takes from arrival to hitting the road again? Thx.

JimH...
It was $40 for two dyno runs. It was a special deal for a Nissan dyno day. Because we had to line up and one guy in his Z32TT locked his keys in the car, it took us an extra hour, so three hours in total.

Hi N74DV
HI!
I'm out in Gilbert...missed everyone on Saturday at the Pavillions but plan on hitting the next one.
Also, I have a question for all you Z owners in PHX: how many times have you been pulled over by a cop in your Z??!!
I feel like I'm driving around in a big police magnent...I've received my SECOND criminal ticket in as many months. This time I was going 85 on US 60....cops are out to get me. Guess it's time to just slow down...hard to do in the Z (first ticket was thrown out cuz it was ridiculous).

I got pulled over for swinging a right turn too fast. The car handles just too damn well to not hang those corners!
I didn't get a ticket but the officer did hold me for about 20 minutes while he gave me the sobriety tests... ridiculous. I didn't even have a drop of alchohol and he said I "reaked of beer".
I think he just wanted to inconvenience me... ohhh he was a motorcycle cop.... why is it 90% of all motor cops are ******?!
Anyways......
I plan on being at the pavillions this Sat. I go almost every Sat, but I don't normally get there 'til about 7:30. I normally park with my Audi friends, but if there were some Z's or G35's I'd just as well like to park with them.....

sheesh!
Well I'm glad to know I'm not the only one getting pulled over!!
I was also pulled over one other time and the cop said he actually just wanted to "admire my car for a minute."...ugh

Stainless Headers...
Got the Stainless B&B Headers on. The boys and myself are disappointed with the results. Sounds even throatier, but the RPM increase was only beyond 4000 rpm, and it was only 2-3 hp. They used 1 3/4" pipe for this application. However, they are going to retry at 1 5/8" to see if there is any greater improvement. Anyway, just thought I would report the results.
Adios all, its Friday night and I'm feelin' alright!!!
