Default 1st Annual Mudd Run to the Hills

From Peterputter:
This thread is started (in Mudd's honor) to promote a day of fun, sun (weather permitting), and Z fellowship in the final dayz before the white stuff flies here in Colorado. All suggestions/ideas welcomed, but we'll most likely end up planning a final itinerary at the last moment!

I'm in. My preference would be October 15th or 22nd. Destination? Aspen via Independence Pass (if it's still open.)

Any other ideas?

I can't make the 15th but the 22nd has opened up. If we go then I'm pretty sure I can make it.

I like that Independence Pass idea of Gary's, but open to anything right now... my baby got paint on Monday and I may have her this weekend... may be!

I love how you have your lady pose with my car for pics. She didn't want to pose for pics with your Crapalier?

Or maybe she just likes the LeMans better

I'd love to go, but won't be able to make it until Oct. 22nd. If that's the date, my vote would be to shoot for another trip over Trail Ridge Road before it closes for the year.

Hey Brian- Just a thought for a GOOD drive: how about starting out going to Estes Park and traveling over Trail Ridge road through Grand Lake. Hit I-70 and proceed west to Glenwood Spgs and then to Aspen. Whew! Over Independence Pass and back through Leadville to home. Our Z's could make that in a day if we don't screw around along the way. It would be a trip to remember...

The 23rd is a Sunday, most of us like to do drives on Saturdays due to having the next day off to recover, not to mention it is football Sunday and I never leave my house on that day.

I'm going again this weekend... somewhere with my lady, anyone welcome to come along.

I'll be there for the 22nd (weather permitting) but without my lady.

Cheers!

This is the time of season where you cannot plan too far ahead... must take advantage of the weather when you can. All weather forcasts today predict ideal conditions for this weekend. I hope more peeps can make it out... I'll post another thread here on on 350zmotoring.com to see if anyone else might have the time.
