Default Dealerships in CO boulder/denver/springs

I'm getting a 350z here soon.

I haven't been very impressed with any of the dealers I have gone to so far in the denver area. Anyone like a certain more than others? would like to hear peoples opinions/experiences.

Also, which one(s) have the best service department? While I like doing my own work, there are things I have to take my car to the dealer for.

thanks in advance.

Do not go to Academy Nissan! Their service and sales dept suck! Owner was a jerk when they razor bladed my brand new 03 while clear bra'ing my brand new car at the dealer (back in 03) and the focker would not take the car back, basically said he would paint the car! The service and parts dept people are ignorant and don't have a clue half the time.

I would try David Solan in Pueblo, I had a great experience there. I went through the Internet Sales Dept, that would be your best bet, as they tend to give you a better price than shady salesman do!

Default Tynan's Nissan in Aurora

I'd recommend you try this smaller dealership. Their pricing structure looked less inflated and they've been willing to deal with Z customers. I use their service department and have had good experiences to report.

i've had good luck with the tynan's service department, too.

i bought my car from a dealer in Minnesota, but took it to Tynans for my first service, and they gave me my first oil change free, just on an oral agreement to use them. so far, they've been quick, and replaced both my nav. door and two front tires due to feathering on warranty claims. they've treated me like i bought the car there.

I bought my Z at Marzolf, now Solon. Marzolf would only reset the toe and said my feathering was from aggressive driving. Nissan NA sent me to John Elway on Arapahoe Rd. and they have done great work helping me get my warranty work done. Ken Thomas is the Service Manager there.
It's also 30 minutes closer for me.
Tynan's gets a lot of work from Zcar club members and is well thought of too.
I got such a runaround when I tried to buy my 03 Z from Academy that I never went back.

I had problems with the used & new sales dept at Woodman Nissan. And the finance dept was the worst. No problems w/ Academy service detp here though.

Woodmen and Academy are owned by the same guy. He's a jerk. Academy service has always been cool to me, but I also used to work with them. I wouldn't buy a car from either sales dept. Having said that- I did buy my Z from Academy, and it sucked, but I eventually got what I wanted at a great price. Will never refer them though.

So I won't be getting a 350z. While I have been screaming purchase... the dealer on Colfax (Empire) was talking lease... So no Z. I've got a Miata and the ultimate grocery getter sleeper (turbo'd station wagon 20+ years old)

I looked at some used ones. Interior in the 2006 is night and day. It is german audi/VW quality, but I don't think I like the engine as much. It doesn't feel as quick and seems to lag more than the 287hp engine. I am sure it is due to the lack of torque, but the 2006 motor is definately smoother powerband and lasts longer into the revs (while 287 drops off). Suspension is not bouncy (compared to pre 2006) and a lot quieter cap.

Personally I woudl get the 2006 though, interior is so much nicer it is amazing.

I got both my 03 350z from Academy nissan, they treat me like a rich guy lol. but i keep telling them i'm broke guys. but hey they did a real good job with my Deals. Great pricing for me, but honestly I wouldn't recomend them, I think I was just lucky to hit it off with everyone there.

Then again I'm real good at making deals and buying cars. I would shop around do more homework online prices, call befor going to places, because if they aint going to tell you over the phone then there sure as hell aint going to tell you the truth when you see them.
