Well if you are willing to fork out the cash, how about a full blowen StopTECH Big Brake Kit?

Yeah a Big Break Kit should do the job. Just be ready to spend $1600 (front only) to $2k+.

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention...MONEY IS A BIG FACTOR!!!!! That setup Kevin has is what I really want but 1600 ish isn't as bad as I had imagined. Right now Nitrous is my next goal. Anyone know how to install NO2? You just plug-er-in and go right?!

Impressions? I had this installed on my car and have driven it for about a week now. Nice upgrade over stock as far as stopping power. I think the best part of this upgrade may be the brake lines as you can really feel the difference when applying the brake pedal.

I had the same impression when I installed my upgrade. But I still wish I did the rotors for the "look" factor.

Brick-Z: I haven't even installed the kit yet. I'm deployed returning sometime this month. I'll leave my review once I get them one and tested.

WOW!!! First and foremost: A big THANKS to Kevin (kevinapex), Sean (hr2burn), Will (DevildogCO1), & Blake (Colorado S14) for the help/ doing the install!!!

This kit is awesome!!! Bite come much sooner and peddle feel is much better! If you want a nice street break kit upgrade, and you don't have the Brembos, I say go for this kit! I love it!

Problems: 1) Left rear pad clip/ retainer somehow bent and was rubbing against the rotor. Notthing a grinder didn't fix.

Installed Pics: Coming soon!

glad u liked it.. i am liking the brakes as well.. Question to others: is it normal for the brakes to squeek a little when braking? I remember reading somewhere that it is okay.

I stumbled on this deal on 12.8 track rotors for the guys shopping replacements. I have the slotted dimpled 12.8's on my 300, at these prices it makes the rotors practically disposable .

$155.00 shipped -

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...=296&year=2004

Just a heads up, I have no affiliation with this company.

I don't know if that a deal or not since I've never research Brembo replacements. Four rotor for $620 is crazy though. I bought my StopTech Stage II for $630 shipped, but of course that for the non Brembo brake system.

Apply some squeak stop (CRC) to the backside of the pads, I have had mixed results. Did you sand your old rotor then do a "burn in"?
