it starts and it's partially tuned. Need a lot more tuning done and need to fix some little issues like a rough idle (will probably drill into the throttle plate), and the greddy catch can hoses provided for the oil lines suck *** and crimp really easily causing the car to smoke. Need to get those replaced w/ much more sturdy hosing than the clear kind provided with the kit. Shooting for a Friday completion date but may be a little earlier.

It gets full boost before 3500 rpm's and right now around 3500rpm it's doing 250hp (taking into account my car dyno'd on Tobi's dyno @ 220hp @ 6600rpm's) so it should definately be interesting to see the numbers it can put out at redline

Thanks Benitoz - definately looking foward to it. Right now I'm sticking w/ the 7.5psi, the MAP sensor on the UTEC is only showing 5psi relative so I may bump the boost 2# in the near future. But for now, I wanna just get it back and enjoy I'll be happy with 350hp much less lol.

Does your car have a rough idle? Were thinking about drilling the throttle plate to help the idle and also help prevent some stalling from sudden pedal let off at high rpm's.

Justin: So what's your final impression of the Greddy kit and it's installation? I can tell from a few of your posts that you're not too impressed.

Hey David,

I'm going to be getting the car back today, Tobi just finalized the car from a late session of tuning last night and early bird tuning this morning. You can definately expect a full write up from me on my review of the Greddy TT kit, as well as my experience with TC Performance. I can already tell you a summary of my review about TC Performance - it's simply take your Z there for any work if you want it done right and with the most professionalism and best bang for your buck. Tobi is no stranger to the Z world even though he doesn't really post on this board - he's too busy working on Z's and modding them then posting about em

Final update from Tobi @ TC Performance:

Yesterday we finished all the little odds and ends and got the car on the dyno for the first time. After about 6 hours on the dyno doing load range tuning and rpm /load tuning we came up with some pretty impressive numbers. Here are the rest of the pics.
Starting with my left hand after "knuckling" down and finishing this car ahead of schedule.

Car on the dyno

catch can installed

Pic of the intake pipe and the charge pipe

The finished checklist

FMIC all installed and ready to rock.

Turbo timer pics

And finally... the chart. This is on the stock 7 psi spring that comes with the kit.
MAP readings were at 6.6psi. Enjoy.

Alright guys, I just got back from taking a ride in Justin's Z. All I can say is that the thumping in my chest is still just as loud. Holy ****! I have never experienced torque rush this crazy. The BOV sound is INSANE! I wish I was exaggerating, but no. Parked across from Justin's Z, my Z seems like a sleeping kitten!

I had the same feeling after I drove KevinApex's supercharged Z. When I got back in my Z I felt like it was powered by a 4-banger with only one working cylinder!

Nice #numbers. I was kind of suprise to see almost 400 uncorrected hp on a stock motor and stock boost in CO. I look forward to seeing it in person.
