Okay, the time is getting close. Who here have installed or had nitrous installed? I have read about it and it seems to have alot more involved than most people would expect. I just dont want any suprizes, I will most likely have Boulder NIssan install or at the VERY least...tune it....Kevinapex gives them about a thousand thumbs up which is good enough for me! To be honest, I would love to do the install myself, but how tough is this? I am very mechanicaly inclined but I don't want to blow up my motor...
Thanks for any advice,
Sean (a.k.a. all kind of shizit)

Did you do it? What did you need to add to the system other than the bottle and the lines running to intake? What size shot? any Dyno or 1/4 mile readings?
Thanks, (the man known as many names)
He means that he did it with his butt cheeks.....lol. S
Seriously though, it is not hard at all, the parts all go together easily and the hardest part is routing all of the lines and making it look pretty. I can help if you want!

I have installed several kits from the very simple to the very complex. It all depends on the kit you decide to go with and your skills. Usually the instructions are very general to fit every car ever made so you will need a basic knowledge of your own car and the systems involved. For a wet kit with a single fogger you will need to tap into the fuel supply somewhere and add either an aux. pump or an intaknk walbro to handle the extra load.(depending on how much gas you plan to use) You will also need to rig up some sotr of throttle switch inside the car since the 350Z does not have a throttle plate you can switch from under the hood.
BTW, I can install and tune it for you at my shop if you decide you want to have a professional do it.

No really Sean, I was just talking to Jason (owner Boulder Nissan) yesterday about this for you. He was saying that he doesn't like the idea of the no2 being shot into the intake tube vs. directly into ports.
If any no2 accumulates in the intake tube, and ignites it can cause some damage.
Lets get with Jason or Erick and see what thy can do, HP-$$-risks!
