Default Colorado 350Z holiday-season dinner/happy hour meet

It's time for our (somewhat) annual Colorado 350Z holiday season dinner/happy hour meet. In the past, we've had a weeknight meet early in December to help us all catch up and take a break from the typical holiday-season madness, and I think it's about time to schedule this year's get-together. This isn't a holiday party (no gift exchanges or fruitcakes or festive sweaters) - just a seasonal time to get together and hang out.

When? How about a weeknight (avoiding the weekend shopping crowds) the week of December 11 - 15. Where? I was thinking somewhere on the south side of Denver to make it easier for our friends from the Springs to join us. Maybe somewhere around Park Meadows or the Centennial area.

Any thoughts/suggestions/etc? Who's in, and what day works best for you?

Great idea my friend. I am up for sure.

We could always meet at that Finn McCools place we have used before or CB & Potts again. Maybe someone has a new and better place we have yet to try yet.

Lets set a date

I'm in. Let's do Finn McCools again and see if they'd give us a private table on an off-night. How does Wed, the 13th sound?

Devildog will be here the 16th of December, I'm sure he would love the chance to catch up...just my 2 cents. If it could be less north (or less south) I'm not sure what would be more central. Sorry I'm an "idea man" not an "answer man!" Since Holiday sweaters are not welcome I may have to pass.

I have odd dates off this month. (1st, 3rd, 5th...) Also every Tuesday. If the weather good and on the south end of Denver, Park Meadows as suggested, I'll try to make it.

Sounds like fun and I would join. I work Sun-Wed, so any days after that would work for me.

I can make a Thursday night for sure. Good idea Gary, I'm looking forward to it and can probably make any night work out if it's not on Thursday. Thanks for keeping us southern CO guys in mind. Now, where is the meadows?

Park Meadows--the big mall at County Line Road, just north of Lone Tree.

Finn McCool's is about 2 miles north of that at I-25 and Arapahoe Road.

It sounds like Wednesday or Thursday of that week would be the best choice, with no clear group preference for either, except that it looks like about an equal number with other obligations can make one of these days but not the other.

So to be fair, I flipped a coin and it came up Wednesday. I don't want to exclude anyone, but with a group this big it's tough to accommodate everyone's schedules. Hopefully, those with other obligations on Wednesday can find a way to stop by, even for a few minutes.

So let's go with Wednesday, 12/13 at 7pm, at Finn McCool's. It's at I-25 and Arapahoe on the south edge of Denver. If I remember correctly, the easiest way to get there is to exit I-25 at Arapahoe and head west for a block or two in order to double back and access the parking lot.

See everyone there!

Just to add to Gary's directions, As you exit I-25 at Arapahoe Rd. go west for one block and turn south (left) at S. Yosemite St. Then look for the first driveway on your left to enter that parking lot. There's several restaurants in there and Finn McCools sits by itself in the NE corner. Looking forward to seeing my Z bros there!
