Dave,
When did you plan on going again? I'm thinking Wednesday the 27th.

Subscribing, I'd like to see the retune. I'm local so I'll just pop over from work on whatever day you go.

That weather was fantastic! Love being snowed in every few years or so.

Cool, you are a modding fool. That thing will be all set for the TT kit. Have you decided which one yet?

You got my support on that decision. After just reading 2 threads where 2 stillen's blew an engine, I am thinking unless I have an extra 8 grand sitting around for a built engine, on top of the money for the FI kit, it's just too risky.

Sorry, guys, I am gone for Christmas vacation right now. I'll be back on the 30th, and I'll call Bill then, and set something up for January, probably the 3rd or 4th (Weds or Thurs) If anyone wants to drive up there or meet me there, I'll enjoy the company!

I might be up for tagging along. FYI: I think someone is trying to set-up a Dyno-day on the 6th.

So, I'm finally heading up to MAC. Tomorrow (Wednesday), be there at 1000. Let me know if you want to drive up as well.

No snow predicted until Friday, so I should make it.......

Just got back. Numbers are the same (plus or minus a few HP here and there), which was 363 rwhp. Neat thing is that in 6th gear, it makes full boost at 2200 rpm, and over 300 ft/lbs from 2000 all the way to 6500 rpm. Same in the rest of the gears, more or less.

Anyways, I *think* wwe fixed the stuttering problem; when we first ran it, there were some serious dips and gaps in the torque curve that corresponded with air/fuel ratio problems. These were NOT there on the initial tune with the install, and I don't know why they started showing up. neither me, Bill, nor Nick could figure out why. But, with some good tuning from Nick, we got rid of them, and everything is great now.

Rob, a question for you: since you have had your UTEC installed, has it thrown any engine codes (service engine soon light comes on)? Specifically, we are trying to figure out why mine and myspivey's Z are both throwing P1444 after the UTEC install. His is N/A, mine is FI, so that shouldn't be doing it. The only commonality is the UTEC, and me and Bill were wondering if you had seen anything.

Accually Bill & I talk about this and yes I am throwing a code. Need to stop by AutoZone and get it pull. I'm also having that stuttering problem. Right around 2200 rpms. I need to get up there as well to get it worked out.

Well, ****. I thought you were not throwing any codes. If you haven't gotten it fixed by Autocross day, I have an OBDII reader that can do it. or, I am going back to work next week, and can bring it in. If you feel like a drive up to my part of town, that would work as well.

Wow those are impressive numbers, 300 ft lbs down low at 2000 and up high at 6500! That's the beauty of the JWT TT system - FLAT Torque Curve FTW!

Would you mind posting the new chart, I think the first one wasn't that flat and trailed off more at higher rpms.

Did you ever hear about the guy who got his installed after yours, I think he was going to stick with the JWT management system and not go UTEC. Bill didn't think it would handle the altitude.

I talked to Bill about this guy, 350Z JWT TT Kit. He did stick with the JWT EMS. Bill & Nick weren't fans of it. I'm sure he'll be back with a UTEC soon. LOL
