I leave early Saturday morning for my Christmas vacation, or I would.

 

I scheduled with Bill to up there right around 10 or so, so probably want to leave the Springs area around 9 or so. We can meet at Chapel Hills mall and take 83 up, or take I-25 up, either way.

 

I'll PM you my number. Are you closer to Academy or Powers. I usally shoot up Powers to 83 up to MAC. I get off work at 0715 and home by 0740ish. Be enough time to shower and meet you at King Soopers off of Powers. If that is easier than Academy.

 

Much much closer to Powers.....I'm at Woodman and the 24, so I would have to go through powers to get to Academy, I was just thinking for easy place to meet, but anywhere on POwers would be better. Probably the Home Depot/Walmart on Powers would be the best. Got your PM, as well.

Dave, Little problem I've run into... SNOW!!! I carpooled with the wife this morning to work so the Z is at home tucked nice and warm in my garage. Now I have a little problem getting home in the morning since my wife will need her car. She also has gate gaurd duty tomorrow morning and won't be done till about 0830. Also if the roads are still pretty bad I don't even know if I'll be able to get my car up. Don't know if you still plan on going or not. If so I don't mind riding shotgun with you. I just don't know how I'm gonna get home early enought to meet you, if the roads are clear, or where/ how to meet up with you if they are not.

 

Yeah, it all depends on the weather. I'm wondering if they are going to close the base today due to the weather.

We'll see how it goes. If nothing else, I might be leaving later then planned, to give the sun some chance to melt something. Have to call Bill today and let him know I may or may not make it depending on the weather

Yeah, I got 3 feet of snow in my driveway as of 6 o'clock. Snow tires just won't help with that....
