Exclamation Calling All Colorado 350Z & G35 Owners!!!

Due to having 60 (+/-) 350Z and G35 in the Colorado Roll Call thread I have decided to have a large meet with plenty of notice to make sure you have the day off. I want to research for a central location/ park in Denver with easy directions and a good amount of parking. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

WHO: Colorado 350Z & G35 Owners
WHAT: Colorado 350Z/G35 Roll Call Meet
WHEN: Saturday April 7th, 2007* Time: TBD
WHERE: Denver, CO (Park TBD)
WHY: To get all the 350Z/G35 member in one central location for one large meet.
HOW: Maps will be provided once a location is set.

I'd like to see us jam up I-25 between Denver and the Springs!

Another idea is to involve ZCC in some way and make it an all-gen Z/G meet spanning 37 years of the car's history.
THANKS!!! PMing everyone sounds like a great idea. I think someone did that for the Cripple Creek meet last year. April 7th should be more than enough time to make sure you have it off. ZCC is an idea also. However I don't know if we'll need permits and such for such a large crowd.

Yes, they did indeed send out PMs for Cripple Creek last year to everyone listed in the "roll call" thread. I got one, but my Z was a few days from arriving, IIRC.

As for a permit, that's a good point. Phu, what say you? Will we need one?

Okay, on one meet we had a year or so ago I PM'ed EVERYONE I could find in Colorado (this might have been from that "other site" I think that was the biggest turnout I had every been too but alot of work! May I suggest the brand new Old Chicago on Union between 6th Ave and Alameda? It's got a BIG parking lot and many nice cars show up there on the weekend. You KNOW I will be there!!!

Sounds great, I'll keep the schedule clear that day. 60 Z's and G's showing up would be awesome.

HHHmmmm Would it be safer to do it in the summer when we are guaranteed not to have snow (just a suggestion since this winter has been so awful)

Usman: Permit for what specificly? Gathering in a private parking lot all depends on the owner of the property. If you gather at a mall lot of any business lot, it is best if we contact the owner and the business that it will effect. I've found in the past that the business love these events since it brings in business especially if there is a restaurant. If you expect a big enough crowd, sometimes they will even tape off a section of the lot for you.

Most cities only requires permits if the gathering is on public property.

I recomend Red & Jerrys. (S. Santa Fe & W. Oxford) It has a big lot with plenty of space inside to accomodate a large eating crowd. From work, I also know that they are very happy to have such events and may even give discounts on food.

We can also invite cars from the S2k, Evo, STI, NSX, Mustang etc... crowd. Altough they won't count in the offical Z/G tally, its fun to have them there.

For highway travel in a large group. Traffic control reasons, I guess

BTW, for all the time you devote to volunteering, they should comp you every weekend!

No permit needed for that.

I wish, we are understaff and it's hard for officers to take time off but if I volunteer to be sick it just might work out!
