Saw a Transport Trailer on C-470 with…
A brand new Solar Orange Z on it. It was heading South by Morrison and I just caught a glimpse of it. I guess the Orange does stand out. The trailer was loaded with a few other Nissans. I’m not sure where it’s destination was, but it’s a good sign the Colorado is finally getting the 2007s.
Just from what I saw, the Solar Orange is an interesting color. It reminds me of Denver Bronco 1980’s orange. At least close enough where Mudd will hate it.

Yeah I was kind of interested in checking out an 07 in person or even taking one for a test drive. I'm not too interested in a new 350z, but who knows. I'll probably swing by Littleton Nissan this weekend to see if they have one in stock. I'll post if they do.

It sucks that they will SUCK for bolt on FI performance due to the high compression ratio.

I'm more interested in what it will do all motor though. 395hp 3.8L Nismo RS crate engine would be nice.

Wonder what that is at the wheels... 300RWHP N/A would be fun with a 3200lb'ish car.

335 whp assuming a 15% parasitic loss. Yeah, I think that would be fun in a 2900lb 350Z. And no boost issues to deal with at the track. It won't be the fastest thing out there, but it would be as reliable as it gets and plenty of fun. Of course, maybe the new engine will be Japan market only. But I can hope.

My buddy's got his S2k (11:1) boosting at 9psi on pump gas up here, I dont think the VQ35HR will be hurt *that* much by the comp ratio for boost. Could probably still get at least 8-9psi out of it which would probably make some great power.
Well I dropped by both Tyanns' and Littleton Nissan on Sunday. I went that day to avoid the hassle of the dealers. Anyway, there were no 2007s at Tyanns, but Littleton had two Roadsters on their showroom floor.
A Solar Orange and San Marino Blue. I must say that how indifferent I am about the new Orange I am really intrigued with the Blue. The new hood looks pretty good. Not as intrusive and evident as the online photos made me assume that it was. Even though I wasn't able to look inside or under the hood, it was still interesting to see the latest and maybe greatest Z. I guess that the real test would be to actually drive it and see how the new HR and the more linear powerband feels.
I also stopped by Littleton Infiniti to see the new G35 Sedan. I was pretty impressed in the new styling. Both with the exterior and interior, well as much as I could see. As much as I liked it, I'll wait for the coupe before I start to think about getting rid of my 2003.

Everything is the same besides the hood and the engine. another interesting thing i found out is that they are taking names for the new gtr. 500 buck deposit, rufundable. And they have no names as of now, so i would be first, should i do it?
