If all 18 (read 17) people show up I will be completely amazed.

 

We did have 14 350Z's make it on a drive to Aspen a few years ago. Sadly, many of those people that went on that drive have disapperared from this board.

That was a fun one, and I think it still might be our record for most Z's on a drive (but that was back when there weren't as many on the road, either, and it always surprises me that the drive numbers haven't gone up as more Z's are sold). Wasn't that the drive where we took a wrong turn before the turnoff for Independence Pass and ended up on some farm road before we figured it out, and later stopped at Beau-Jo's in Idaho Springs for dinner on the way back after we all drove our own pace on the I-70 return trip, and had to wait for something like 2 hours to get a big enough table?

You're right, a lot of those folks have left and moved on, unfortunately. I've probably still got some of the pics from that drive; I'll see if I can't dig them up as a reminder of who has moved on (Bob, Greg, Joe, Dennis, Darrel K, the guy with the Jeep who's name I can't remember, etc.)

 

That is the same one...............that was a good time.

 

Did we ever set a starting location, time, and where we are going??? Are we grabbing lunch/dinner anywhere? Also might want to update the first post with all the info and people attending.

Important ... we should watch this unfold. I have to delay my return trip to Denver because snow is in the forecast for parts of my route. Crossing fingers. I hope I can be back latest by the 6th to give my baby a bath before the drive.

Something I have learned from living in CO all my life is I will believe the weather once it happens. It always chages minute to minute, and that 10 day forecast right now is meaningless. I am just hoping for the best.

I like the update idea, Robert. I was planning on posting the route anyway. Below is the best that Google Earth could come up with. I could not get it to include Deer Creek Drive, but I believe it did include Turkey Creek Rd to Nederland and then through the canyon into Boulder. Feel free to post updated route if any of you can include Deer Creek.

Starting point is 8454 S Kipling Pkwy, Littleton, CO (Kipling and C470).

All, keep in mind that as I said, I could not get Google to include the Deer Creek Rd Don was mentioning. So do not consider this to be the 100% exact route just yet! Don, let us know what you think. To me, the route above looks very good; will give us some highway driving as well as plenty of time in the twisties near Nederland and then all the way to Boulder.
