We are doing an informal lunch/ catch up to start the season off right.
New Saigon Alameda and Federal link here:

It would be cool to see some of the "old timers" and some new faces. Just an hour or two of your lazy Sunday afternoon...
Do the right thing!

I too have the itch as well Sean, but I think I will wait for next weekend because it's more my style. I will admit, I am sorta a picky eater and my wife is the complete opposite. If she were in town right now I bet she would be there in a second.

Vietnamese food is some of the most delicious international cuisine I have ever tried and I have had plenty. We met Phu (bamyi) for the Chinese New Year dinner at Saigon Bowl and still talk about their food; it was that good. I have had Vietnamese food in different parts of the country and Saigon Bowl's fare definitely takes the cake. Especially the cat fish curry we had there (Phu and his friends did the ordering so I have no clue about the name) was nothing short of extraordinary.
Oh, and back then I had Googled the restaurant's name to get their street address and Google listed a review by the Denver Post. The reviewer had said, "You know you have hit pay dirt when as a professional restaurant critic, you try something at a new restaurant and realize that your life's goal from that point would be to try everything else on their menu".
Yes folks, Saigon Bowl is that good.

I couldn't agree more about Vietnamese food being some of the most delicious anywhere! I've had meals in the 'silk triangle' (the nickname for this ethnic neighborhood) before and the food is excellent. In particular, Da Lat and New Saigon (which are nearby) get high ratings.
If I can get everything checked and loaded into the trailer tomorrow (Sunday), I'll try to make it down!

Well I stopped by the Asian Market place, but I wasn't aware that you guys were there. I stopped by because my girlfriend wanted some rice crackers and then I saw one 350z with volks. Then a few spots down there was a 350z with an intercooler. After looking around I saw Dave's Redline. Then on the other side was Kevin's 350, I noticed because of the AP Brakes. I finally put it together that this is where everyone was meeting
So I went running around looking inside some of the restaurants, but I didn't see anyone. Got a few weird looks, but nothing I'm not use to at that place. Oh well, I wish that I would have at least go to say hello and open with "it looks like there's a 350z parade out there". Hope you guys had a good lunch.

No problem guys, I love to experience new cultural experience and to share mine as well. Parking on SAT and SUN there are crazy since that's when eveyrone goes shopping.
I truly enjoy how Sean said no thanks when I mentioned Catfish. Then when it came out he ate it like everyone else.
I posted on the MilehighZ but since not everyone is a member, I'll post it on here too. I like the idea of Old Chicago on our next meet. And since summer is here, we should also try to do a BBQ at a park and play some friendly games like vollyball, softball, horseshoe, basketball, etc... We can all pitch in for the food and just enjoy the sun.

Yeah, I'm noting very "risky" when It comes to trying new things...I PASSED on the jellyfish...Loved everything else! Hope we get on a schedule and do this more often (once a month, regardless of any "meets"?)
I love those wheels you have Phu...what are those?

The wheels are Volks SF-Challenge w/toyo T1R tires. I also have a set of NISMO I'm thinking of e-baying out to get BBK.
Again, I love your plate, it has my name!

I honestly haven't made up my mind to sell them yet since I would like to use them for racing. Its alot lighter than my Volks. I also haven't check to see what a fair price is for used ones. (I don't want to ripe anyone off) I got them for free so honestly, i'll make money either way! They are light but I don't like the looks of Nismos.
They are 18", 245 front and 275 rear. They do have some curb rash. Here's some pics...
