It looks like I'm going to be taking a job that requires me to be in Denver for 4 days a week. Any tips, do's and dont's, gotta see, don't eat the sushi kind of tips?
How long are you going to be here for? Maybe it's worth bringing the Z out for your time here. We have a lot of little events going on, maybe you can take it on a cruise of the mountains or something. The group of owners here is great!!
What part of town will you be staying? Anything over weekends?
As for the Diamond Caberet, I will disagree and tell you it isn't worth ****, none of the PT's owned clubs are.

bofa, welcome to Denver. This is a very nice place to be, and people in general are very friendly too. I just arrived here about 3 months ago. Brought the Z down early this week. Looking forward to meet other Z owners. We can share notes on what we find out.

I'll be there for 4 days a week for probably at least a year. I'm going to be working out the details this week but from what I understand I'll be at the Marriott downtown.
Getting the Z from FL would be a biotch... maybe I can find one to rent
.
Keep the tips coming.. I gotta find something to do. What days do you guys meet?

SIR!! Do I know you? I cannot recall being at your residence!!! I do have occasional weekend blackouts? If you do find some fluffy pink underpants lying around the house, they are mine!!

bofa,
You plan to stay in a hotel 4 dyas a week for a year?? Are you serious? I am in a similar situtation as you and flying in/out frequently between Denver and Canada. Stayed in a nice hotel (Grand Hyatt DT) for about 2 weeks, that was enough for me. Apartment is the way to go. Some home (self) cook food is better than 100% eating out. As I was apartment hunting, secured parking was a requirment. Am I glad I specified that, because I am very happy that my Z is here. Just waiting for the @#$! snow to go away. Assuming your hotel bill is paid by your company, for the same money, you can get a very nice apartment. Worth considering.

You will enjoy your time here. Stick around for a weekend and you may even get to crash one of our meets!
If you like sushi, Kasai in the Park Meadows shopping district gets my vote; almost impossible to go wrong with anything they have.
P.S.: This thread brought back memories of my consulting days (4-5 days/week in LA for several months). I HATED THAT GIG! Hope you'll enjoy this, though.

Yup, it's consultant work. The apartment thing isn't a bad idea. The thing about the hotel is that there's no contract and it's within walking distance from the building where I'll be working. Any recommendations on apartments that are downtown?
Theres plenty of corporate apts. in Uptown Village @ 17th & Grant, or in the Riverfront area of Lodo in some of the high rises. I do work at both of those places, they are nice and within a walking distance or shuttle bus ride down the 16th street mall from where you are working.
You might also try some of the higher end hotel chains as I believe they have long term rentals with living rooms and kitchens. That way you may impress some of the plethora of single poon you are likely to meet when hanging out downtown for the next year with your cooking skillz.
PS..........bring the Z out so you can experience some real twisties. You won't regret it. Well except for the lack of horsepower due to thin air.
