Joe,

Don't say die to an old guy, will yah Mr. Physics Dude? For me, the Summer 2003 issue has dominated about all my time. dkmura is doing a lot of leg work for Sport Z and MUDD is still hiding from the law.

Other than that, I'm just about ready to have lunch in Vail.

Finally, a suggestion has come our way from none other then the very busy Messaiah of the Z car world.

I didn't really let this thread die, I was just hoping that someone would maybe have a suggestion or two. Vail sounds great to me, in fact I will be driving to Beaver Creek on Saturday for a beer festival, so I will have to check out the current condition of our mountain roads.

Anyone else have any ideas?............please post them........and also, it sounds like June 1st seems to be the best?

I better run..........I think the feds are tracing my IP address right now, they may find me. Luckily I do have the Z back, fresh from her stint in rehab, errrr........I mean the body shop for me to get away in..................

Default Vail's good

Last time there I had my first and last Mint Julep. It was Derby time.

Geez Bob can't I post anything without poking you from some angle or another? I'm just eternally greatful that I used "die" in lieu of my initial thought of "sh*t the bed". JK. Love ya.

My .02. How bout lunch in Granby with a side trip to Grand Lake?
Really, I don't care let's just do it!!

Gary, Rob, Dennis, Daren: Well?

I should be able to join you guys on June 1st. Would you meet at Granby or somewhere close to Denver and drive up?

Hey guys. I've got a lot of family stuff going on right now that I'm trying to take care of, so I can't say for sure whether I'll be able to make June 1st or not. Granby/Grand Lake sounds good, though. I'm sure it'll be a great meet/drive/etc.

In short, don't count on me to be there, but I'll try to make it if I can. I'll keep in touch to find out the details, just in case.

Messaiah of the Z world -- How cool is that!

Joe, told yah Brian was on the lamb [anybody know what that means?]

Lake Granby is better than Vail and Trail Ridge Road usually opens on the Memorial Day weekend. Wouldn't that be a kick.

Hey dk, got your ears on?

Jeff,

In response to your question concerning whether we will meet in Granby or an agreed upon location. We live and die and drive as a group. Looking forward to meeting you.

OMG. Sorry Bob. Pulled a Homer. (8(l)

Gary-- Wrap up or leave a loose end or two.

Joe

Default Not a couch potato!

Hello Everyone-

Sorry I haven't been too involved with this thread. The truth is that spring/summer is a BUSY time for me. I'm competing in SCCA races this weekend at Pikes Peak Intl. and doing the ZCCC day on June 7th at SCR. I'm also an avid tennis player and trying to gain a ranking in several categories again this year.

The upshot is I'm not sure I can make the June 1st drive. But don't count me out yet! Just post where you're meeting and the route to be traveled and get ready to see a Redline Z closing at warp speed!

Default Meeting Place

I guess now all we have to do is figure on a place to meet and at what time.

We can always meet at my work, although centrally located, it is the freakin ghetto, and not my favorite place. If anyone has a better place..........and I know there are plenty..........please let us know.

Looks like we are making some progress now

Default Rendezvous point

Where should we meet?

Brian's workplace is good. Trail Ridge Road is open so any location along 36 (Boulder freeway) is ripe as well.

The other question would be what time to meet and what time to depart after the catch-up on what's been happening session.

Let's set something concrete as soon as possible so plans and arrangements for everybody can be addressed and they can attend.

Default Ready

Brian's workplace is central and works for me. Leaving at 9am would be an ideal time to get all the way to Estes Park and over Trail Ridge Road and lunch by the lake. Could it get any better than that?

See y'all Sunday and if you're not a subscriber to Sport Z Magazine yet, shame on you and bring your cc.

Bob
