Default Pueblo Motorsports Park Safety Class- 10/2/07

After PMP elected to make 9/28/07 into an open track day, I asked for the next possible open date to hold a exclusive Nissan/Infiniti/Datsun HPDE- safety class. Unfortunately, due to high demand, NO WEEKENDS are available and Fridays are scarce.

So I snatched up Tues, October 2nd for the next possible date to hold a safety class. We'll run it in similar fashion to the March HPDE/Safety class, with the exception that costs will rise to $150 due to what PMP is charging. The following individuals expressed interest in attending, but since the date changed, I thought it wise to ask whether these committments remain:

1) funkymonkey1111 - 350Z
2) Dan - youngz33 - 350Z
3) Will - Resolute - 350Z
4) Devon - shushikiary - 350Z
5) Andrew - Abishop - 350TT
6) Dave - Souit - G35
7) John - 350z.drifter - 350Z
8) Joe - tsabrale - '07 350Z
9) 350ZMPH - SC 350Z

If there's enough interest, I'll post a class syllabus on-line and ask for the class fees to be sent. So please post up and let me know whether you're coming. Even if you're not on this list, but want to come to the class, please post up (name, hometown, type of vehicle) to be added to the list. Finally, please post up any questions you might have.

I may or not make it, it all depends on my work schedule. If I am off (which is about 40% chance), I will be there.

Doubtful. Need to have attended the safety course or an SCCA or NASA lincense. Unsure about ride alongs. <~ David?

I know NASA rules for ride alongs are HPDE 3 or better (which equates to David's safety course), and a helmet, of course.

Beyond that, I don't know the specific PMI rules.

Sorry- tried to make this clear on Robert K's thread, but novice drivers have to complete the PMP safety class BEFORE signing up for an open track day like the 28th. I know, I know, it's the old chicken and the egg quandry- don't get me started!

As for ride-alongs, you would need to be there first thing in the morning to sign the track waiver and wear a helmet. That's the only restrictions I'm aware of.

Well lets first see if PMP will allow it. Also I was suggesting a ride along for those on the open track day. If you can attend this I HIGHLY suggest it.

Assuming that it is allright with PMP (which signing the waiver and having a helmet), I am perfectly fine with having someone ride along with me. First person that throws up in my G, though, owes me a full detail job, and pays for dinner!

Can't make it, I have class on Tuesday. Weekends are the only thing that would work for me during the semester.

I'll do my best to make it. I'm much more interested in this setting than an open track day with people I don't know.

I am in. Thanks for rescheduling and teaching the class dk. I just need to know when you would like us to send the dues. Now to ask for those dates off. It will work out pretty decent. I head up the weekend, do a drive with Robert and company, and then get to learn the following week.

So far it looks like we only have three interested. We'll need at least eight to make this cost effective for each participant. Some who originally signed up have responded, but I don't see any responses from the following: Dan - youngz33, Andrew - Abishop, Dave - Souit, John - 350z.drifter, 350ZMPH - SC 350Z.

The list so far is:

1. funkymonkey1111
2. tsabrale
3. shushikiary

Amarao is also in for auditing the class (since he participated and passed in March)
