Gonna be in town.......
Hey Colorado,
I'm going to be in town for a few days at the end of the month. If anybody has some free time, it would be cool to hook up for dinner or something........ It might be the last time I'm back in Colorado before I move to Japan.

The Z won't be there with me, poor thing is stuck in VA for alittle longer. I will be in Japan for two years. I am looking forward to it, but I ak also alittle nervous so if anybody has lived over there any advice would be great.
I have never lived there. I have visited the Kansai Area for around 2 months. I know a friend who has lived there as a English teacher for the past 8 years. From his experience, I would recommend enjoying it as much as you can. And try to learn the language with the limited amount of time. I was there only 2 months and my skills Japanese was improving fast from the forced daily usage. But the one thing my friend learned is that if your co workers are all gaijin like yourself, you don't have to use Japanese as much, and as such, his language skills have developed poorly for someone who as lived there as long as he has. The good thing is most everything is spelled out in Romanji for you so it is easy to get around. Make sure to get a train pass as that will save you money and LEARN HOW TO USE THE TRAINS/BUSES! Their public transportation is superior to ours. Anyway, enjoy your time there. I really miss it and plan to go back one day. I would love to be there for my job.

We will all hokup for dinner and drinks somewhere for sure. Man moving to Japan....I think that is the best part about serving your country, not only seeing other countries but living there. AWESOME!
Been to Japan a couple times, but just touring around. Visited the Nissan factory in Tochigi and watched the Z rolled off the plant. Likely going again next year. When/where do you guys wanna meet? I'll join you for a drink/dinner if time works out. I may even hook up with Will in Japan next year.

Sorry- I'll be off racing in LaJunta this weekend and will miss the visit. Have a great time in your tour of Japan. Bring back some cool stuff for us all to gawk at someday...
We meet at Old Chicago on 2nd and Union between 6:30-7:00 Sunday nights. We are up for doing something this evening as well. We are trying to coordinate with the Gilmans -- no promises on this. If you want to call Sean we will figure something out. If you want to visit family tonight and hook up tomorrow that is fine too. Let us know.
