Usman is right and here's why....

It is a plug and play system. I tested the FM and AM stations as well as the six disc changers and it worked with no problems.

Now that I now it works and I'm all excited, I was disapointed to find out that it does not fit into the center piece.

After inch by inch comparison, I found out that the 06 unit is taller than the 03. It was about 1/2 inch taller on top and 3 centimeters on the bottom. The corners for the 06 is also rounded off whereas the 03 is more squareish.

The 06 also has two plastic **** on the bottom and the 03 doesn't. Oh well....it was fun working on the car.

I got the Nismo exhaust on and it sounds good. You're right david, I do drive with my window down, stereo off and always ramping on the gas just for the sound.

 

Hey Phu, Post #22, told you it would sound good, now add the NISMO Headers and really get the sound and +hp feel. They're some on sale for I believe $500. on the forum right now. That's a really good buy too.

Phu, you will never drive through parking garages and tunnels the same way ever again. Wait 'til you fly through Eisenhower/Johnson tunnels at 4K+ RPM with the windows down; it is quite the experience and one I look forward to every time; just did it last night in fact.

 

yeah, I'm looking forward to my first tunnel. I wonder how it feels to get de-tunnelize. Will I poo in my pants?
