I don't know what the cost is, since everyone charges different rates, but I'd assume that it will be between 10 hours and 15 hours of labor. At a low rate of $75/hr, it would be $750 for 10 hours and at $125/hr for 15 hours it would be $1875.

With that said, I think I paid about $1000 for install both times I did this at the dealership, so maybe the 15 hours is a bit high.

Yes, both times that I bought 350Z's, I paid the dealer for Nismo Cams as part of the purchase. The advantage is I was promised it wouldn't affect the warranty, since it was delivered as a new vehicle with those parts and the dealership installed them and their Nissan manufactured parts.

Whether that carries from sales pitch to reality is possibly another matter. It doesn't matter any more, though, since it's a whole new car now.
