Things have been pretty quiet here on the SW Forums and in particular, this thread. So, we've had eight sign-up so far. Of the eight, three have already been through this safety class before! There are plenty of other G/Z pilotos who could benefit immensely from this program--where are you? We need TEN to make this happen, so don't miss out!

If you're sitting on the fence, do a search and check out the threads on past HPDEs we've done. You can read the syllabus and comments before and after each event. Get out and learn to DRIVE your car at speed!

David: sign me up. I decided I'm not going to run anymore NASA events until I can get insured for the track (likely next season, form the looks of things), but I'm definitely interested in getting some tips on using the force from our own 350Z Jedi Master.

OK- it looks like we've got the minimum ten required. Now let's see if we can get a few more to reduce the overall cost for EVERYONE. If we can get 15, the cost goes down to $100/car!

I'll put out a syllabus and begin taking deposits for this class next month. For those that have been through one of my HPDEs before, do you have any suggestions? Each of the exercises is designed to get both car and driver in sync and ready to progress to the next stage. Which ones were most effective? Which were least effective and why? Again, we'll have exclusive use of the circuit and will have a detailed walk-and-drive component to the course, as well as passing exercises.

nobody seemed to understand the exercise when we followed you around the track, david--the one where the #2 guy was to break off and go to the end of the line. there seemed to be alot of confusion on the passing, etc. on that exercise.

other than that, the skills learned were great.

I would even say do more side by side, as it really builds up driver awareness. And it's fun, too!

OK- Gitsum has clarified that he's on the list twice (Robert G35 is his other nom-de-plume'). So we're still stuck on nine:

. Bamyi - 350Z
2. 350ZMPH - Thomas
3. Amarao - Exige
4. SuperJupi - G35 Coupe
5. Alteus AKA Ranger - RX7 or 944
6. funkymonkey1111
7. gr8scott_o
8. Robert G35
9. ColoradoClark
10.

David,

I promoted this event as best I could at the recent NASA weekend at PPIR. I have two possible candidates and will email their info to you directly.
