Default Anything?

If there is enough interest, I can set one up at a DynoJet at Street Flight in Mesa. Last time with a dyno day there I got it for $50 (3 runs with A/F).

Let me know.

Please Hupperware, if someone is setting up a dyno days at another shop, don't come posting that you can do one elsewhere. This exact same thing happened when I tried to set one up at Dyno-Comp and someone posted about setting one up for cheaper at Street Flight. If you want to organize one, feel free to do so, just please don't do it here.

BTW, the one I set up didn't end up happening due to scheduling conflicts (Sedona Run and also SEMA in Vegas). I had been meaning to setup another, but just hadn't gotten off of my lazy ****. I am definitely interested in doing some more pulls, so count me in.

Dyno-comps dyno is perfect for AWD. Street flight's standard dynojet 248 is perfect for 2wd so you can compare the #s with the rest of the US. I think that reason and the fact nothing happened in the beginning of this thread to get it going is a perfect reason to him asking people if they want to do it at streetflight instead and he would set it up.

Woah! Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this thread.

There was no response for some time, so I thought it would be a help to pick you up. The only reason that DynoComp isn't a great place to dyno a 2-wheel drive car is the fact that they have a 4-wheel dyno. Great for the STi, but not for Zs. When you get that dyno sheet showing under 220 it un-nerves you.

If you want me to continue on and get this setup at Street Flight, you are more than welcome to join us. This is going to be a weekend event for the Desert Z Association too. $50 with lunch included is almost 3 times better than the $140 I was quoted at DynoComp... again, I apoligize for steping on feet.

Hey, no problem. You're a LOT more understanding than the guy that did it to me. I'm just a bit sensitive regarding this because of my last experience.

I don't think Richard should have quoted $140 unless you were asking for at least an hour worth of pulls. I suspect that this Dyno Days would be about half of that. He's a little more than Street Flight, but his dyno cost about twice as much, so he has to try to make that up as well.

BTW, I dyno'ed 230hp to the wheels with only test pipes on my G, so it's not that far off compared to Dynojet's.

Please keep me in the loop regarding the Steet Flight thing, just in case we don't end up doing one at DynoComp. Maybe lotus could give us an update on the status of this "event"?!?!?!

Sorry guys I have been busy fighting with my car. I spoke with Richard about pricing and have it at $60 ea for 3 runs with AF. All I need is 10 people willing to get in and we can pick a date. In regards to what dyno to use it all depends. I was looking to get results from different cars same dyno same conditions. As far as having a dyno that shows bigger numbers, I dont really care. If you guys want to set up something at the other shop I dont care im in for whatever.

I got a dyno awhile back at dyno-comp that was around 233 pretty stock so its not far off alot of others. I did notice a dyno from a car that had crawford plenum and TS reflash that beat me by 20hp, the big gains were after the flash. <---- off the topic but interesting.

Anyways let me know ......

Lotus,
Here's the details for Street Flight: https://my350z.com/forum/showthr...&threadid=61630

You save $15 and get lunch, plus the Desert Z Association will be there in force. It would be nice to break the record of 29 cars there (FBodies) with Zs. All years of Zs, not just 350s will be there... a nice warm up for Motorsport in April.

OK. We have been confirmed at Street Flight. Rollers begin spinning at 10:00 AM on March 6th. Street Flight is located East of Country Club and South of Broadway in Mesa. Price, as stated above, $45 per car for 20 minutes with air/fuel and a BBQ lunch. If you car doesn't want to see the dyno and you want to hang out with some fellow Zs the price is $5 to show up, watch, and eat.

Street Flight will e-mail them to you, or you can bring a floppy.

BTW, I was their first 350 that saw that dyno...

Like Lance said, either email or floppy will work. On the email you get the dynojet files and a link to download the free runviewer app. I will probably see some of you guys down there.
