Colorado Z Meet and Day Tour
What's that explain? That I'm on the lunatic fringe? Well, I did survive Halloween on the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, early '80s.
I "lived" there for only 7 months total, split between 3 mos of initial corporate sales training and two-2 month follow up stints at HQ. The first go-round, summertime. The other two, Fall/WINTER then late Spring following. I still can't drive in snow. Laff.....

)Thanks for the driving lesson offer but I doubt I'll need it. Our AWD vehicular is pretty stable when we do go to the snow and I've been able to catch that backend while fooling around in a snowy parking lot. Hahahaha.
Today was a good day! Drove across Trail Ridge Road In Rocky Mountain National Park. The Z ran flawlessly, with 103K on the clock.
One of the last days of summer for 2019. One of our past Colorado Z meets reached the top of Trail Ridge and were greeted by driving rain and heavy winds.!It was second gear and sweaty palms until we inched our way off the Continental Divide that day!
Had to post a quick shot of my latest mod: Kenwood DPX593BT headunit replaces my older OEM (Clarion) unit. Together with a USX-200 front amp and MB Quart speakers, it takes my music to new levels.

It is a shame the turnout was so poor. Maybe all the Z owners are on Facebook now? This place has definitely changed to a ghost town. It was busy way back when the 350Z first came out. I met a lot of great people through this forum back then. My first ever track day was with you, Gary, and a few others way down in La Junta. That was followed by multiple trips to PMP and Second Creek with a lot of those same people, and one trip for a track day with you down in Albuquerque on my snow tires. You let me take your car for a few laps after my Blizzaks started chunking, and you had that super light Tilton race clutch that needed a bit of practice to keep from stalling from a stop but it really helped the VQ free rev. It was awesome. Memories of those wonderful days at the track, scenic group drives through the mountains, a couple of tech and shop days at people's houses, and it reminds me how lucky I was to enjoy my car with such a good community of fellow Z owners.
Hopefully, the next drive has more turnout. Either way, I'm glad you're still enjoying your Z and continuing to make it a great community for those who are interested.
