C5- It might be me if the sale was from Elway South on Arapahoe Road. My first new car in 18 years is an '03 Redline track model and I'd be curious about what "nice things" were said.
As to racing, Elway South has been a sponsor in the past and that's why I went with them. The team is Illusion Motorsports ("If you saw our budget, you'd think it was an illusion") and we have a brand new crew for '04: Shogun and Cyclemutt have graciously offered to help me out this year. The car is a tubeframe Nissan 200SX Se-R, with full-race 1200cc A-series motor, dog ring gearbox, Goodyear race slicks and lots more. Our main competition is the 1998 National Champ, who races a Honda in our division. Last year he had the fastest lap at the Runoffs by 2.5 seconds before he broke- he'll be formidible, but we're going after him!
I'd be happy tp post our race schedule (in case anyone is interested).
