Default Good Body Shop in Phoenix, AZ?

I wish my very first post to this forum could be on a less-crappy subject, but...

Someone decided to 1) key AND dent one of my doors and 2) put a big ol' dent in my fender. I've decided to just send it to a shop for a repar and repaint.

Can those of you here in Arizona recommend a good body shop anywhere in the Phoenix area? I want this done RIGHT, so I'm willing to pay a little more if needed.

Thanks in advance!

**** like this pisses me off to no end. Jealous assho!es that won't ever have anything of value because they're losers.

Can't help you on the body shop but I would call some of the high end shops in North Scottsdale and ask them for a recommendation.

BTW, I'm in AZ too. Where about did this happen?

Default body shop

I'd recommend RS Auto Arts. It's around 22nd ave and Deer Valley Rd. They are great and trustworthy. Sorry to hear about your incident. Jealous people are "too stupid to live"

You're gonna love this: It happened while parked in my assigned parking spot at my apartment complex (a gated complex, no less). Sonoma Landing apts on Power and Guadalupe.

Not to point the finger, but there are always unsupervised teens running about... riding their skateboards... etc. I reported the incident to management, but there wasn't anything they could do. No witnesses.

MarkY: thanks for the recommendation. I'll give them a call.

Actually, I should clarify something: the dented car in question is NOT a 350z. WAIT! Don't kill me! I didn't join here just to mooch off ya'll and find an auto-body shop. My next car will be a 350z... probably a 2005 or 2006 model.

I mainly joined here to learn as much about the car as possible (good and bad) before my purchase... and because I'm just a huge fan of the Z in general.

I take all my cars to Stutgarts. I am sure that I spelled it wrong but they are the best.

Oh yeah... I think I've heard of them. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll get a quote from them too.

This is awesome... thanks everyone. The more suggestions I get the better, and I'll get quotes from them all.

I'm sure there are a few Z clubs here in Phoenix, but you specified not wanting to join one made up of older guys.

As with most sports cars, I think most Z owners are going to be in their early to late 30's... with a good number being above 40. Unfortunately, there aren't many young guys/gals who are lucky enough to have incomes that allow them to buy/own a sports car.

I'd love to join/start a Z club when I get mine... and will be going out to Firebird Raceway regularly. But I'll be 31 or 32 by then. What age group were you looking to get together with?

well the age isn't so much a key as it is the age of the Z. Frankly I have little interest in joining a club who majority of their members own older Zs.

LOL... oops. I thought you meant AGE only. I'm not much into the older Z's either... except for the 300ZX.

Default Paint Shops and Z Clubs

I've heard only good things from most of body shops that people have posted here in terms of external repair, but does anyone know of any good paint shops in AZ. I'm looking to accent a couple interior pieces to match the exterior color of my Z. A friend recommended a place called Envision in Mesa but I was hoping to have a few more options. Any help would be appreciated.

As for Z clubs in AZ, I haven't found any that are specifically for the 350Z. The only Z club I know is dedicated to all Z's and not just the 350. There are probably fewer than a dozen 350's in it, but the rest are mostly older 240's and 280's. They do however have a ton of events so it's definitely an active club.

Im in my early 20's and I have a 350Z so I'm in the same boat as you. If you find a club out there, official or not, let me know. Right now, I'm just rolling with my friends (1 with a sport bike and the other with a vette).
