Come on down to the San Diego GTG's ... it's great fun with lots of like-minded peeps!

 

I've been a few times. Then I promised myself not to come back until I got the aftermarket wheels on. Sort of an incentive since I was usually the only car with the bonestock wheels rolling into the parking lot.

I'll be back soon though.

 

I know what you mean....my chrome silver Z still has the lousy 17" rims. So yeah, I'll be the only one with stock rims! It's all good though....I just got the Plenum! Damn, my car is fast now!

 

Yeah, i get the same response. I flash my lights, flash the hazards (for the Zs behind me), i even look into the car and i get nothing. Living in Long Beach with a lot of Z owners only to get nothing back really is disappointing. Well, there was one. I was driving down the 405 and this blue Z with Nismo Exhaust and tint pulled up next to me and waved.

 

i'm from long beach also... i'm pretty sure i'm not one of them.

Yup, i was the one in the DB Z, i like your choice in colors too. haha. sucks cuz mine is bone stock. I'm doing good tho, but i'm not going to the JGTC. I have other obligations to tend to. Maybe we'll meet at the next GTG

 

I'm an office monkey who owns a Z and gives thumbs up to other Z owners. So not all office monkies are the same. Heck, I'm at the office right now.
But I do notice that other Z owners are not very friendly. My friend has a wrx and he gets thumbs up all the time. But i think someone in one of the earlier posts was right: evos, imprezas and s2ks are more likely to be an enthusiast behind the wheel than our cars.
Maybe thats why I get the least amount of love from the g35 owners. i think they hate me. they make me scared...with all the stare down action.

 

Today I saw two silverstone Z touring, one roadster, one coupe. I try to give a thumbs up, but they are both middle aged women who avoid even looking at me...
