You can also try Bert's Motorcycle Mega Mall in Covina. Unfortunately the sales people there are a bunch of dumb$h*ts! Prices are a bit high too, but they have a huge selection of pretty much everything you'd want.

High prices are fine since I am not going to be buying from them directly. I just want to use them to check fitment

That's not the best idea. In my experience you should not buy a helmet that you haven't tried on. I have tried several different helmets and had the same size fit differently. I would recommend that you buy a hemlet that you know fits.

my 2 cents.

Yup. I've tried both Arai and Shoei brands and within the same models of each there was significant difference between the same sizes of helmet. When I bought my Kenny Roberts Replica Arai helmet a while back, I tried on a M, L, and XL. The L actually fit looser than the XL. It's something to think about. You don't want a bad fitting helmet.

Found a nice Sparco helmet at SubeSports in Huntington Beach. The fit was perfect A bit pricey, but I don't mind spending cash on something that can potentially save my life.
