Post Announcement & Important Info about Installations at Performance NISSAN

Hello fellow So-Cal Z owners. Don't worry we are not going anywhere or not doing installs any longer. We can still sell ANYTHING.

Performance NISSAN can no longer install Non-CARB Approved products. This includes parts that have CARB Numbers that have not yet been approved.

Performance NISSAN can still offer the same service it has always offered for all Factory part issues as well as aftermarket installation of all Non-Engine parts and CARB Approved Engine Components.

Performance NISSAN can install all parts that are not related to the emissions system:

Cat Back Exhaust
Suspension
Pulley's
Drive Train / Transmission - LSD / Final Drive / Flywheel / Clutch / Valve Body
Cooling
etc etc etc.
Stillen Supercharger & any other CARB Approved Forced Induction.

Performance NISSAN can NOT install the following:

Headers
Camshafts
High Flow Cats
Some Intake System's
Non-CARB Approved Forced Induction

Performance NISSAN can SELL any of the parts we have always offered for street and or off road only use.

Will Performance work on cars that have been modded still and may or may not include things you install now or did at one time?

Well that is good news. But what happens say in the event something you dont install is bad and in the process of you working on the customers car catch it as bad. Do you replace it or say well you have a bad turbo or bad intake or bad camshafts or something like that..what happens then? Does just the customer get informed and you say well we cant help you but you can go here and get this taken care of or that doesnt count in your new policy as a restriction as long as it was already there?

Just curious.

If it is a pre-install part we can do what we need to get your car running.

Outstanding! You guys have such a huge customer base im sure that if you had to push them away because the mods they have that would not be good for customer or you guys.

I am guessing this wont really affect you or your past clientel much moving forward then.

The parts we mostly installed were CARB approved.

The only parts we can not do are Cats / Headers / Cams. And if anything those if we ever did any were a small fraction of installs...

What a bummer I was saving up for high flow cats and exhaust. You can still sell the high flow cats right? and where would you recommend getting it installed??? and what about CAI or pop charger???
