Default HID bulb GB feeler

I am going to upgrade my stock HID bulbs to either 8000k or 10000k bulbs. Is anyone else interested in doing this so we can cut a better deal? The ones that Im looking at are between $215 and $245 per pair without the group buy discount.

I am interested in getting a HID kit. I have the base model. Let me know if I can get in on the group deal.

Is there a real noticable difference? Why then do they put purple/blue hue HIDs in cars that are far more expensive than the Z (like Benz and BMW)?

Thanks
Brian (wants blue/purple lights but is trying to understand why they are inferior)

actually bmw's and benz's run 4300k (same as z) hid bulbs. the projectors produce the color spectrum in the light output. that is what you see as the top of their light output hits you.
