Default Where is this track?

I was out with my wife on Palomar Mountain Sunday. Up near the top coming in from the south on S7, there is a memorial to a firefighter there. If you look to the southwest, there is a nice track at the base of the mountain. I tried to find it, but couldn't before the sun set. Anyone know if it is public or private? I couldn't find anything on it.

There is a track there, I saw it with a car running around it. I'm just trying to find out how to get there.

if it was at the base of palomar mountain it is the amago raceway. it is a go kart track, and a dirt bike track next to one another. to get there, you use the entrance to the waterpark, and go past the waterpark. the entrance kind of sneaks up on you.

the track is excellent, and if you have a kart, it is only 25 bucks to race all day long.

I'm not sure if it is new, but I don't recall seeing any dirt track, and the vehicle on it didn't appear to be a go cart, but from up there, it may well have been, but it had to be a big cart. The next time you are up there, head back down on S7, and stop at the memorial to the firefighter, and look at the base of the mountain behind the memorial itself. Car or cart track, it did look like fun.
