Default Who has a APS TT and where did you get it installed in LA?

I am about to get the APS TT kit and so far I have only heard from Brainstorm doing the installs here but they want $3500 for the install which is about $1500 more than other people outside of LA have paid.

I was wondering if anyone else got one where did you get it installed, how much did you pay and has anyone taken it out to one of the local tracks like Irwindale, LACR or Fontana

Thanks

Unfortunately the kit is at $7500, hopefully it's going down a bit soon.

Someone just ran a 11.6 on a stock motor with the Kit, The Carrera GT runs 11.4 at $440000 I'd say yeah sell the porsche

Wife would probably beat me, heh. So minimum it's $9,500. I don't even think I could get that for the Porsche *and* the other car that takes up space in my backyard (a SAAB 9000 Turbo). I should open up a used car lot.

This is the first time I will have a shop do it. Especially since you can't tune it yourself they won't give you the software you have to go to a unichip dealer.

I have had bad experiences with them lying to me and several of my friends got REALLY bad turbos plus even worse customer service from them.

I come from the Celica community and XS Engineering is not a respected company especially due to their horrible customer service.

But thanks though

the point is that a turboed Z is pretty damn fast at the fraction of the cost of a porsche and since Drag Racing is my most favorite past time and I can't wait to finally get back to the track

So about $9500 for the kit installed. What about if I have AT? How much additional for a beefed up torque converter+install? And if I only have a TC in addition to the TT, would I need anything else to have great reliability and less headaches?

This is just a pipe dream for now... adding in a TT for my car might be a year or two down the road.
