350z cop car with a hood scoop?


anyone else seen it around?

 

If it is the Montery Park PD, then we saw it at the West Coast Z National. There are a couple of pix of it going around. It has a hood scope CF hood, Lambo doors, chrome wheels (19 or 20, I forget), Nismo spoiler, etc.

 

That car will be at Turbonetics shortly for a turbo kit also....

Just so you know apprantely the guy who drives that hunts for street racing. When he pulls you over apparentely instead of giving you a ticket he gives you a free pass to go run at Irwindale...now thats a cool cop...

 

I assume this car is his personal car right?

 

No actually....it is part of the Monterey Park PD. They put up the money for all of this to encourage people to race legal....

Good ole Officer Gibby. He's a drag racer himself and has built several of these cars for the Monterey Park PD. I don't believe any public funds are used to build the cars. Cars, parts, etc. are donated to the cause.

that's the way to do it, the police needs more people like that.
But of course if they continue to close more tracks than all this is mood anyway

On my way down to the San Diego gtg last night. I saw a Escondido PD Ford Lightning. They had some poor dude pulled over on the freeway just before the mall. That shocked me though.
