The weather was perfect and the road was a real challenge
(for new driver me!) with the combination of gravel,
rocks, minor road damage and the water from melting
snow. The first 35 miles were great and it was only at the
top where the road conditions starting getting a bit
challenging. The road is closed after the half-way point so
we turned around and came back.

Lots (and lots) of bikes both petal and motorcycle up
there. The hikers and scouts were waving at the parade of
Z cars.

awesome run guys, thanks for the pictures paul. we need to do this again next month sometime. the fd was my buddy brandons, it was running too hot so he had to turn around right after nukems. damn rotary's.

 

shopping for one, want it as a daily, yeah i know thats backwards, but the FD has always been my favourite car (at least until i can afford to bring over a TVR)

wow that was fun.... out of all the bikers there was only one that gave us a thumbs down... he was on a harley type of bike i believe...bastid.

 

nice run guys. too bad the road closure made us turn back in the middle, but it was fun!

 

Everything was going well until one of the sites moderators showed up and basically soiled an otherwise good run
