Anyone interested in caravaning to Stillen days June 4th?

In the past we have met in the parking lot of the shopping center at Mira Mesa Blvd and 805. I live in North county, and would prefer meeting at North County Faire, but this is a more central place.

Who's interested? What time should we meet up?

 

I might be in, I think a friend here at work is planning on pulling me up there anyways, and it would be good to finally meet a few people here.

I talked to a bunch of Z guys who've been before and said parking is way bad and to get there early. I'd say we should meet around 7am and try to leave as close to then as possible. The folks I spoke with plan to arrive around 8am. The location is about 50 minutes from I-5 & 78 provided we take the 73, a toll road. Are you "still in"? (no pun intended...)

what the heck, i'll go. i'll be coming from Carmel Valley (close to Mira Mesa). i can meet up anywhere, doesn't matter to me.

i can also go up at anytime, i just hope i can make it through the day with 1 leg.

Denny's is off the 78 freeway - take the El Camino Real exit, turn NORTH, first light past the freeway is Vista Way, turn LEFT/WEST on Vista way, next turn is just past the Discount Tire, turn RIGHT into Target/Denny's parking area. Denny's is on the right.

yep, it's a manual. doesn't really matter though, it's my right leg that's broken.
you should see the fancy footwork that goes on when i have to brake hard, i use my left foot on the clutch to downshift and help out on the brake pedal at the same time while trying to heel-toe with my right

reading this thread, i notice that i have never seen most of your screen names (except the guys that know me, of course) but you are from san diego. how come none of you show up at the tuesday night meets in clairemont? we have been doing it for over a year now with great fun and success.

and don't give me the north county excuse, because we have guys that regularly travel from temecula for the meet.

No way. if you have been once, you have been a million times. their show kind of sucks...the coolest part is all of the customer cars (our cars) in the parking lot. too far of a drive. i guess if you have never been, it might be worth it. they do provide lunch for everyone, however, which is certainly nice of them.

yeah ... i went last year ... with a baaaaad hangover and i missed the caravan and the food ... so it really sucked
