We've done a lot of meets from the Starbucks and it works fine as long as the point car stops occassionally. PCH is generally a bad place to meet just because parking is such a pain unless we want to pay for it. Radios are nice and my cell is available by PM and that usually keeps us together. So, we'll keep it at Starbucks and I hope to see you there Ha.

Sho, thanks for working on this thread to date and for the PMs. It's been a rough couple of weeks for me and your work on this really helped.

FRS radios. Most of us have Motorola Talkabout. They have ones w/ subchannels but most of the ppl have ones w/o so it'd be a waste of money to buy the FRS w/ subchannels. They usually sell in pairs so you may want to get it together with another forum member and share the cost.

The way my schedule has been changing lately I won't put my name on the list, but I have marked it on my calander. If there's any way I'll be there. Might be my last run before the serious traveling starts again.

are you guys making it a weekender? If you are, you should definitely take the 154 up to los olivos, nice road up through the canyon by lake cachuma going to los olivos near the wine country area and my favorite rideau winery. Then cut through solvang and buelton to the 101 and back down to santa barbara, it's a great drive.
