Default I can't wash my car anymore, need advise.

ok, i've had my Z for about one month now and have been washing it every few days(it's Super Black).
i just had my right femor surgically rebroken about 2 months ago, so everytime i have to wash my car it takes about 1-2 hours of hopping around on one leg struggling with a hose and bucket. i just can't do this anymore until i can walk again( i can't even put any wheight on my leg yet).

so i think i'm going to resort to taking it to a car wash, which brings me to the point of this thread... Does any one around San Diego know of some car wash i can take my Z to that won't scratch it?
also,do any of you know of a good detailing place i can take it to get a good coat of wax put on?
i've always washed/waxed my own cars/bikes, so i'm not sure where to take it.

thanks for any help,
Dan

Ya you can sit outside on a lawn chair and yell at them if they do anything wrong.

it's near the 805 ramps of mira mesa... near vista sorrento valley prkway. the its across from a wells fargo. you have to turn into a street from mira meas and then turn into the plaza. it's a gas station with a hand car wash service. some of the stores in the plaza include, mcdonalds, bank of america, starbucks, quiznos... hope this helps. u can see the mcdonalds sign i think..

I wouldn't take it to a carwash, especially if you have black paint. They use and re-use the drying rags and even though they wash them, dirt gets in the cloth and it WILL leave swirl marks all over the car. One treatment is all it takes.

I remember, when I was shopping for mine it was really difficult to find any Z's let alone one that was equipped just the way you wanted it. I came across this really nice SB touring, perfectly equipped, with orange interior. The car was stunning and flawless. Fortunately - for me - this was night time and the car was parked on the upper parking lot right under bright fluorescent lights. (Universal for those who know) From 20 feet away you couldn't tell, but as soon as you got close you could see the entire car was covered with swirl marks. I bet it was washed or dried with used rags. I said thanks but no thanks.

Try Anthony (DaytonaZ) on here. He's good, but he's in OC, and who knows, he might make a special trip down if you make it worth his while. Just a suggestion.

I highly recommend Anthony. When he detailed my car I never thought Lemans could shine the way he left it. The car really turned heads after I took her for a spin..
