Default Irwindale This Thursday June 2nd

I'm heading to Irwindale first time with the new Z (100% stock). I haven't been to the track in over 4 months now.

Is anyone else going?

I'll see if I can make it. Irwindale from what I hear is one of the best preped drag strip, except its only an 1/8 mile.

yes, it's a great track and it's almost at sea level. If they would ever expand it it would be the ulitmate track in LA

Irwindale you never know, sometimes tech takes forever sometimes you fly through. Sometimes there are tons of cars sometimes it's totally empty...
It's in no way as bad as Cali Speedway though. I usually show up around 4 and get done by 4:30. that gives me time to prep the car and such. But since I am completely stock right now there's not much prepping other than lowering the tire pressure.

What do you need to race there? I'll be in the area and might try my luck on a well kept track. I usually race the 1/8 in san diego my best time is 9.265 with a 2.240 60ft. I also have my DRs with me if anyone wants to try them out. Just look for the silver G with graphite wheels from N.C see you guys there!!!

this was my first time back at the track in over 4 months and the first time with the new Z. I did 4 runs then it started drizzling and I took off.
I was at bone stock including the spare...
First 2 runs I launched too high and did a 9.6 and 9.7 then I launched at 2500 and did two 9.3's which I am happy with for now.
the Montery Police Z was running as well. I saw him do a 8.33, he's running a turbo kinda cool to watch.
I met GTO2350 ( I think....), it was good to meet you
and saw a red G35 doing a 9.3 as well

overall I'm happy.
I missed racing sooooooo much, I can't wait till my APS TT finally arrives
I'll be back next thursday
