Default Front Plate Ticket

So I got my 2nd no front plate ticket today. So what this means to me is that I won't be bothered for another until 8/8 which is the due date for the fix it ticket.

Is there a maximum amount of these fix it tickets that you can get before they really put the squeeze on me? I'm wondering if they actually have a running total on record.

I thought they can't ticket you for the same thing if you already have an outstanding ticket for it . That's what happened to me a few years ago & all I did was show the cops the previous ticket & they let me go. Just told me to get it taken care of. That happened to me 15 times in 1 month in the same city!!!

They can't. I got my first one months ago so I already took care of it. This second one gives me til 8/8 so yeah if I get pulled over anytime between now and then, I'll just show them the ticket.

The worst part is I actually bought the Z bracket! I have it, just don't want to use it. By the way Tony, I think I left my front plate at your house.

I recently got 2 front plate tickets for the same car in San Francisco within a six months period. I was expecting some kind of issue with that, but they just asked me for the standard $10 fine after I presented them with the signed off ticket.

I guess I am going to try my luck and take the license plate off again. You guys think it looks bad on the front of a Z? You should see how ridiculous it looks on the front of a Stealth...

What if you brought zip ties with you & if you get pulled over for no plate, you simply walk out & zip tie it on? Would that work???

"sorry officer I just got back from a photoshoot I completely forgot about my plate"
"i have the bracket and plate in the trunk right now"
and see if he'll let you put it on.. carry a bracket with your plate on and whatever tools you guys need to put the bracket on

I just got my license plates in the mail...but I have been delaying putting them on since I think cops don't mess with me bcuz they see the new sticker on the front windshield......... I just tinted the front windows as well...so I'm worried if the po po roll me up...then I would have to take the tint off as welll........ I use to have a slammed nissan trunk with hydraulics...and would get pulled over all the time for all kinds of crap...got noise pollutio ticket...fix it tickets for everything under the sun.... I would get pulled over by the same cop for the same reason 1 week later...... Lakewood sherrifs are hard asses....! Now I got a bunch of cop friends and family members...so maybe they can just sign my ticket......?

I have an even better one than that......I convinced a cop that 350Z's have a "cooling problem" and thats why he wont see many of them with front plates. I think he felt so bad for me that I bought a $35k sports car with a "cooling problem" that he just let me go.....hahaha

hahaha...NIce...good lookin out, but I doubt that would fly in my area. He'll be like, "well that sucks, but whats worse is your gonna have to deal with no front license plate tickets for the rest of your ownership of the vehicle!"

Quick question, Why do we have police again?

I just leave my dealer sticker on the right hand corner of my front windshield on. In addition, I keep my Z clean and leave it stock (or at least make it look stock).

Working so far.........

I got my plates about two months ago and I still have not put them on and no tickets.(knock on wood) I bought the nismo plate frame and put that on the back. I'm probably the only Z with a full body kit and a dealer looking plate.

Oh come on kamz, buying my 'Zee-Bracket' can't possibly be the 'WORST' part of this story

Thanks for the support none the less You might try saying, "Look officer, I just picked up this bracket and was on my way home to install it!"
