Default Poquito Mas

You guys ever try this mexican restaurant? At first I thought it seemed kinda like Baja Fresh, but it's actually WAY better!

I'm enjoying a carnitas burrito right now... and let me tell you, it rocks! Their guacamole is rediculously good and plentiful... it seems like they put at least a whole avocado in here!

All I can say is I'm pretty impressed, and I doubt I'll be going back to Baja Fresh much after this.

No idea why they called it that. I got like 2 tons of chips and a huge burrito... seems good sized portions to me.

And my point wasn't that it's like the best mexican food ever, I'm just saying it's a great alternative to Baja Fresh.

yeah well me being "mexican" i have tried all of them baja fresh, poquito mas, rubios, chipolte, etc. etc. and well chipolte is probably the best for burritos, but nothing beats a home cooked "mexican" meal

Chipotle is good cause you get to pick out what you don't want lol. Nothing beats my friend's gramitas deep fried tacos, hole in the wall mariscos, and roach coach tacos.

I forgot about Chipotle, that place is awesome. I think my dad's cousin did the architecture for the one in Beverly Hills.

I'll stick with Alberto's carne asada fries... yum. It's a heart attack on a platter.

It's sad.. I eat at chipotle at least 4-5 times a week for lunch. Can't really beat a braised steak bowl with double meat for $7. Most of the time I split it into two meals since they're very generous with the rice and beans.

Is that the one on Westwood near Westside Pavillion? Been there, it's like baja. I like the Cheese Enciladas. But, if you want some really good mexican.... Tito's Tacos is no joke! Arguably THE best mexican food ever.... And I love Alberto's.... Carne Asada (Everything)

Poquito mas means 'a little more'. I don't know if they're referring to their food in terms or size or taste or their service in terms of being better. I've never been there btw.

The one in Culver city? Those are good once in a while.

Anyone had Pepe's in Alhambra and San Gabriel? Chinese food is great there and all but Pepe's all meat asada burrito has no beans, rice, cheese, guacomole to get in the way. Those are the best burritos if you like carne asada.

Ahh, that's the one I go to as well. I work near the media center. Maybe we can do a small burbank lunch meet there next week -- keep an eye on the SoCal forums, i'll set something up.

I've been going there for 17 years, the best one is the original one by universal studios.

Chicken Burrito Mojado, Guacamole and Chips....you can't beat it
