Talking Happy 4th! "Arrive alive: Don't drink and drive!"

Hey fellow So Cal'ers... happy 4th of July!!! I know we'll be eating tons of BBQ and drenched in alcohol over this weekend. Don't drink and drive! Let's keep it a safe/ accident free weekend!!!

I just drove into the office now and saw a whole bunch of CHP's on the HWY too. So watch out now. Like the HWY signs read: "Arrive alive: Don't drink and drive!"

It's one of the many days a year where I crawl into the bunker and pull the earth over me. Once you've been hit by a drunken putz in a Pontiac you'll never drive with the same mindset ... get hit a second time by a drunk in a Buick and you reach a second level of fear.

Both times I was hit I was in a big solid old skool car and was only slightly injured.

I must attract them like a street light to bugs.

A momentary lapse of reason can lead to your whole life going up in smoke. I couldn't imagine living with myself knowing that I killed or maimed some child or adult due to a drunken driving accident.

+1 be careful and don't drink and drive.

It's ticket season for the police. Luckly, I didn't get pulled over in my Supra for having a loud exhaust yet.

yup, i'm back...

Cab drivers are crazy there.... everyone talks about ppl in LA being reckless and phycotic... man, they've never been to NY dude. One funny sign I saw on NY highway.

"NY CITY LAW: Signal before changing lanes."

I thought that's the law everywhere. hahaha.

I nearly got hit about an hour ago by a red pick-up truck with two fools in it that decided that the stop sign they were coming to was only a suggestion so they blew it and I nearly t-boned them at 40-50 mph.

I feel ya paul, seems like i attract accidents as well.

Bryans total- 1 truck, 1 car (both totalled) Not my fualt but people suck, especially drunk people. My suggestion is for people to just not drive at all the whole day plus the day following, should eliminate allot of the drunk interaction with you out there on the road.
