BBQ & Dyno day @ Brainstorm Performance
There is a thread for this elsewhere, but I just wanted to make sure that everyone who is interested in BBQ's, Dyno's and APS Twin & Single Turbos knew this was going on.
Saturday July 9th 9AM - 6PM so it's all day and is located:
Brainstorm Performance
12568 W. Washington Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90066
310-313-0088
I'll be there earlier that day, looking forward to meeting up again.

Yes the dyno is open, I don't know how the sign ups are going so if you want an official time you should call and schedule with Christian @ brainstorm 310-313-0088.

Wow just realized their is another BBQ I am comitted to. I think I will go to that one, then go to this one after, since it is all day.
Wow 2 Z BBQ's in one day. Can life get better? I submit that it cannot.

damn, I didn't get there till 4:30 and everyone was already gone.
I spoke to Christian for a bit in preps for my upming install.
He told me they will have another dyno/bbq in 2 weeks while the head tech from APS will be there for some QA.

Yesterdays Meet
It was good to see some of the regulars again and meeting new people yesterday, it was also good to meet the new crew members at Brainstorm.
This also gives us a good jump on the next BBQ which will be the Saturday July 23rd.
What's going to be nice about that meet is David, head engineer at APS australia will be present for any technical/performance questions any of you might have for potential, new, and existing owners.
We had a few dyno runs, one of them being a modified S2000 with a radical sounding VTEC which even spooked Don (and everyone else too) on the first pull.
Who went on test drives in the single & twin turbo cars? What'd you think and what would you compare them to?
I gave a quick test run to Nopi, perhaps he'll share his thoughts on my setup.
Thanks to Alex for the great Carne Asada Rice & salsas!
Roshan dropped in for a visit as well.
I wanted to thank everyone again for coming down, and also as they suggested, if we want to organize a run, we can use their places as a kick off point. Any suggestions?

Thanks to all who showed up and made our first bbq a success! A special thanks to Joe for helping us organise. Here are a few photos. Hope they post correctly. If anyone wants hi-res photos, please email me.
