Sign up now... and if you get a chance, please register on the http://www.teamtransport.org/forums as I blast out regular emails from there with info. Plus, I can keep all out registrations for the event on one page. If you wait too long to register for EA, then they will close the online reg and you will probably not be able to go (unless we load in on Fri night and you pay at the door). I would not expect the link to work much past this friday.

Don't forget to enter Team Transport as your Team so you can roll-in with us.

I should receive the load-in information later this week.

P.S. Your EA registration $45 + credit card handling ALSO includes your passenger. So the cost to show is very much the same as if you attended with a friend as spectators!

OK.. last call I am turning in numbers today to EA for our placement. Was hoping to get a few more. We're at about 8 right now.

Let me know if anyone else is interested! Roll-in will be Sat AM and we will caravan from my house in Rowland Heights at around 8/9am (about 15m away from the show)

I just found out that DaveO will not be able to make it to the show until later in the afternoon, which means he will not be able to roll-in with us.

SoCalTed - ROFL I just saw your car on CarDomain.com and I can't help but LOL at "Fai D La." For those that dont know what that means it basically translates to "hurry up man." But you really gotta say it in chinese with "the" accent

Thanks Dream... I love sitting at stop lights watching grandma and mom get it before dad or the kids. usually results in the mom smacking the kid upside the head followed by a lecture and finger waiving. Too bad I dont have any rear mounted camers

P.S. Still taking reg's for EA if anhyone wants to show, stock or mild accepted. Everyone needs to start somewhere and its the quality time with the ride that matters.

 

Well, my girlfriend wants to go to the Tofu festival so I guess I can probably sneak off to the car show

I just spoke to one of the head guys from eaf and they have almost 350 registered rides so far...

its gonna be a huge show

 

Just google up Nisei Week and go to their homepage. It lists all the different stuff they have going on in J town this weekend. The carshow isactually a relatively new addition to the festival. There's also an anime festival too i think

 

WHOOPS! I got confused between this thread and the nisei week showoff one. The two posts above were meant to be in the nisei week thread.

 

OK all... well, whether you are hitting Nisei or EA... good luck to all the VQ's ! !

As for me, I'm up and the cars cleaned and loaded. Gonna do a quick drive-by on an ATM, double check the ready list and then wait for the team to show up.

I don't have any other pixes, as I didn't get to walk around to much since i was dealing with Speed Channel TV crew, that Argentenian film crew, and anybody else that I could get to give us some coverage/hook ups. Wing, Jimmy and the rest of the team should be posting some soon.
