I've been looking into it recently, and Skip barber and bob bondurant are continuously recommended. They seem to be somewhat pricey though, ranging from $1000-3000, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I'm also interested in derek daly's school in vegas as I hear you get more seat time than compared to skip barber.

Evolution driving school is supposed to be pretty good and much more price conscious. The only thing is that they don't seem to have that many socal events, and the events they do have fill up rather quickly.

Is there a regular school at california speedway? Who is it through?

I know bmwcca just held a school at cal speedway on the 13/14, but that's not a regular thing.
